    I had a name tag made for my dog at this business. When I wasn't happy with the results because I couldn't read the back of the tag I was told by the manager that they do not own that machine and if I wanted a refund I would have to call the owners of the machine which is a business called "Hillman" Upon calling Hillman they said the pet store is responsible for giving me the refund. The pet store is blaming the owner of the machine and the owner of the machine is blaming the pet store. I just want people to know if you get a tag made there ask for a example tag to look at before you have it made. This company offers this service in their store yet have no control over a refund? Another company made all the products in your store. Will patrons have to call the manufacturer of the product they bought if they are not happy? I shop with you often however I will not be a returning customer

    There are many different sizes, colors and materials of tag choices. The look of the engraving can depend on these choices. It is not true to say we don't have examples to look at because we have many examples of what the tags will look like after they are engraved. Further, what is also true, after the engraving was done, you were given the tag to review. If there were spelling mistakes or issues we will immediately redo the tag. We do not take payment until customer gives their approval of the tag. You approved the tag and paid for it. You purchased the tag on November 17th. You returned to our store with the tag and another larger tag you purchased somewhere else on December 7th. You did not want another tag which we would have done for you --you wanted a refund. We don't blame the machine or the company that makes the machine or the tags. You chose the smallest tag and the more letters or numbers you place on the tag the smaller they become.
    There were no mistakes and the tag was legible. You didn't like it. It is a custom item and when you reviewed it you had the choice to pay for it or ask to have it redone. You paid for it and you didn't mention you were displeased with the tag. You returned over two weeks later and we discussed how to handle this. In the end we had you come back again and we gave you a refund in the full amount of $9.99 plus tax.

    I was handed a 1-800 to call because you don't give refunds. Also, I brought the tag into you and the other tag (which was The exact same size as the tag I bought from you) Same size tag for same small dog. I was showing you what a legible tag looks like and that's why I brought it in lol It was a comparison of both tags. The employee that was working that day knew what I was doing. And the tag I brought into the store were in sleeves. Clearly not from your store. You are making an accusation that I was trying to get a bogus refund on "the bigger tag" That was a Service Animal tag and yes it was bought somewhere else. Yes, I did pay for the tag and leave your store. However when I was handed the tag I looked at the front and the back and I still had to turn the tag to I see it. No big deal right. Perhaps your lighting is better than mine. When I got home I laid it on the counter for about five days and then picked it up again. When i did Look at it I had to keep turning and tilting it and it was really hard to see. When you shop at any business and aren't happy then a refund shouldn't be a problem (custom made or not) What is your return policy? If it's less than 14 days then why even mention when I brought the tag back? That's irrelevant. Also why does it matter that I tried to seek out help more than once? I am within my rights to try and get as much help as I can. I can submit photos of both tags side by side if you wish. Thanks for the refund. One less customer
