I called this Dentist for an appointment. They asked if I had even been before and I said no. They asked if I had insurance and I said no. They said they have a new patient special which includes xrays, cleaning and exam for $139. I was not even looking for a special. I waited two months for appointment and when I arrived the hygienist took X-rays. I found it to be the most unusual experience with the hygienist because she spent more time asking me questions about what I do for a living and how often do I plan on coming in and each question asked she would leave the room and talk to dentist and then come back. It was then she told me she had no intention of cleaning my teeth and said she would only polish them. I asked her why I was even there because this is not what I was told on the phone nor was it what I wanted. She said to clean my teeth below the gum line was $1500. It was then that I realized she was on commission and nothing but a salesperson first hygienist second. She asked me if I ever had braces and then indicated I have two teeth up against each other which I have known my entire 61 year life but no Dentist even suggested braces. This was a total bait and switch job. I walked out when I found out they would not clean my teeth because I was lured in by bait and switch and the Dentist *** is a scam artist in my opinion she even billed me $50 for wasting my time. Yes I took two hours from work to come here to be set up for their upsell scam. I should be billing them $50 for wasting my time and trying to cheat me with a bait and switch. I am not paying this $50 and want the bill removed from my account. I have since got tendental insurance so no dentists or hygienists can try to scam me again. They were trying to upsell me like a widow gets upsold while picking out a casket, Total scam job. I would like to discuss this with the media and will discuss this with my local Senator to try to get a law passed to stop this upsell fraud.
