I hired High Five Moving for $80.00 per hour for 2 workers with dollies and a tool bag to move my belongings out of my house into storage. I had rented the truck myself. So only needed the 2 workers with dollies to load truck at home and unload at Storage Facility. The 2 men showed up promptly, but with no dollies or tool bag. On worker was very good, the other one was on the phone most of the time, so basically it was only 1 guy loading the truck. After the truck was loaded my 2 Sons drove the truck to the Storage Facility and the 2 guys from High Five were to meet them there. For some reason the workers went to the wrong Facility and called me and I told them where they needed to be. The one good worker showed up, but the other one did not. High Five then sent another worker, but it took him 40 minutes to arrive and by that time my 2 Sons had helped the one worker unload the truck. I was charged $500.00 for 2 workers at 6.25 hours. I feel that I should have only been charged at the most $400.00 and that is being generous. I should not have been charged for the second guy at all. I have tried to get this resolved with High Five Moving myself, but they will not return my calls nor my texts.Initial Complaint

On Sunday June 19th I was scheduled to have 2 movers arrive at 1pm to assist me for 3 hours of moving services, and prepaid for the service through Uhaul moving help website. The movers arrived over 2 hours late with no communication from the company about the delay. While waiting for them to arrive I called the company multiple times asking whether they were coming and for an update arrival time but they did not respond with an arrival time. I had to return my rental truck soon and could not extend the rental as it was already booked so I needed to unload the truck alone with the assistance of my mother in the rain. The movers finally arrived and assisted with completing the move, but by then there was only 1.75 hours of moving services needed as I needed to move most things myself while waiting to see whether the movers would arrive in order to get the truck emptied in time to return it. I contacted the company to be compensated for the 1 hour so services I paid for that I did not receive due to the movers being over 2 hours late with no notice from the company. They instructed me via text to give the payment code to the movers and that they would send me money to return the one hour worth of services that they did not provide. However; as soon as I gave the payment code (in good faith that they would fulfill the promise of returning me the money) they stopped responding to calls and text messages and have not returned the money for the one hour of service I was not able to get due to the lengthy delay.Initial Complaint

March 6th 2022 Broke and scratched my desk, scratched up my entertainment center, chipped and scratched my coffee table, chipped and scratched and dented my 2 twin beds. Broke china cabinet glass that was wrapped in bubble wrap. Scratched the china cabinet all up. Scratched my dresser, tore my mattress. Destroyed a lamp. Scratched my antique side table. Scratched my dining table and a chair. Dropped a tote down the stairs and broke some of the contents. Dented and scratched my freezer.
