I bought a vehicle from them for $8,500 cash and of course no warranty at the sale but car engine light came on immediately first day I had it with no resolution on their behalf to date I spent over $1,900 just to find out the car has a blown head gasket that they sold me and I had the paperwork inside the local apartment to prove such they also promised the second key fob and did not deliver on that as wellBusiness response

********************* purchased the vehicle and was very happy with his purchase. *************** declined the extended warranty, which he signed a document declining the extended warranty. **************** came back a week later and told us that he needed to replace a sensor. He requested to be reimbursed for the sensor. As a good faith gesture, **************** was given $100 credit for the sensor and the labor. He was happy. He never mentioned having any other issues with the car. Does *************** have any type of receipts showing the claim of the blown head at time when he purchased the vehicle? As for the second key, we did not have a second key. We did not promise a second key for the car since, we did not have one. Upon checking the deal, a WE OWE form was not given to promise a second key. I have documentation of the credit for the $100 credit and the decline of the warranty.Customer response

On April 7th , 2022 I went to Z motors *** to lease a car . I leased a Silver 2016 ****** Corolla with $5,000 down payment. I explained my immigration status and they were willing to work with me regardless and told me Id be able to get everything done in my name . On April 26th, 2022 I kept calling and texting ************************** in regards to getting my permanent tag because the paper tag was about to expire , he kept giving me the run around and kept telling me he was working on it . The date was coming up as the days went by and the tag was about to expire I kept contacting the sales rep ******* to get my hard tag , he kept giving me a change of story stating I was unable to get the tag and that I would need to sign over my car to someone else and keep making payments. I didnt agree because technically the car would no longer be mine, I would just be paying . Long story short on May 10th I told them I am returning the car since it wasnt of use due to them not being able to give what was promised . I returned the car in the same condition it was given and I asked for my deposit or even half of the $5,000 and they refused to refund any money back to me even though they are at fault , and I turned the car in due to not getting the service they promised . The car was turned in within a month in the Same condition it was given . They told my bank that I turned the car in because I was unable to pay , in which they lied and I do have evidence that was not the reason and up to right now they still have my $5,000. They wouldnt even calculate the days and miles and give me back a percentage , THEY ARE HOLDING ON TO MY MONEY .Business response

Miss Topaz ***********************`t have to sign over her car to anybody else, we explained ********************* that all we need is a co signer, she understood but couldn`t bring anyone to cosign unless it was her husband.she showed up one day at the dealership and just returned the car and left, didn`t say anything or tried to work the deal. we can still do the deal and put her in a car but she just left the car and wants her money back.thank youCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: Z motors *** did not try to work out a deal after the issues , which there shouldnt have been any issue from the get go because I went there with my money and explain my immigration status so they should of did the right thing and let me know I needed someone to go sign rather than just taking my money . Why did they wait until it was time for me to get the hard tag , for them to tell me that someone needed to co sign ? It should of been explained and went over with from the day I lease the vehicle with them . Also when my bank contacted there place of business they told my bank they are unable to do a refund because they have a no refund policy now they are stating that they would of worked out a deal . When I went to there office on May 10th or 11th of this year with the issues , they werent willing to work things out with me and that is why I return the vehicle. I sent over all text messages and other documents to prove what I am saying . The deal still stands ? Why would I want to continue something with folks that tried to rip me off and not willing to give me back a cent from my $5,000 downpayment . I no longer want that deal I would like for this company to take money from the $5,000 for miles and days I had the car and just give me back whats left . If they were being understanding and tried to work things out with me I wouldnt have to contact my bank or BBB in the first place .

I am rejecting this response because: Zmotorz have yet to come up with a fair and square solution , if you guys notice they are so unprofessional and lie they cant even come up with anything else . They continue to copy and paste the same response. As I stated in my first two complaints, I would like for this Fraudulent car dealership to be fair and responsible in their wrong doing and calculate the miles and days I had the vehicle and give me back whatever is left of my $5,000 downpayment . This response that they keep sending to BBB was not what I was told when I went there to lease the car . They lied to me , lied to my bank and here they are lying again to BBB . I said I dont want the deal and provided valid evidence of what took place , why are they still forcing this deal on me 6 months later ? Why would that deal still be available? I would not like to go forward with any deal that involves this dealership, seeing how you guys operate first hand is scary and I would never recommend this company to anyone . You guys did not speak to me in terms of settling the issue when I came to return the car , you said you all dont do refunds which was not made clear to me until that day of returning the merchandise.
Please just be fair and lets work through this third party and settle the issue and stop running around in circles .
