I tried to cancel my subscription, I just used their service for $1 for 2 reports, and then they took $49.99 without offering any service. I asked them to refund my money, but they did not. In addition, the information on their two reports that I received in the free trial is not sufficient to take your money. They do not refund your money however you do not take any service from them.

I have seen the responses from other EpicVin complaints and expect the same generic response. This is a ****, ******, and a complete waste of funds for a void subscription service that will not be utilized. Then to offer a credit in the same amount to use on their website is the email response I received as their terms and conditions are in the contract, what contract I only paid or 1 report and only needed one report. Total ****!!! User beware and do not pay the $1 fee

Same as everyone here, trialed for $1, then PRIOR to the end of the 3 day trial I was billed *****. I filed a claim through PayPal, with evidence of timestamped reciepts but was denied, then denied on appeal. Ultimately I went to my bank to dispute the charge and was finally given my money back (USAA is great btw).

This Company is a COMPLETE SCAM. I tried to cancel as it didn't give me the information that it said it would. I cancelled literally 2 hours after I signed up for the service $1, 3 day trial. I have emailed them numerous times and they refuse to refund the $49.99 that they charged me. Do NOT use this company! They truly are a scam and the information that they give you isn't anything like carfax. EpicVIN is a crooked bunch that will take your money and run!

This so called business is a scam and needs to be properly disposed. Might as well pay the $40 with carfax and get legitimate information for your dime because this is a complete robbery! I am currently working with my legal team in getting a law suit ordained because this is a violation of my consumer rights. I was given a false *** report and forced a membership with this company! My report did not show that the car I purchased had an open recall, I took my car to get the standard services etc and was told by dealership that an open recall is on the car. The *** research from this report stated there was NO open recalls on this *** so when I reported to customer service that I needed a refund I was told that since Ive already opened a claim with the payer (paypal) theres nothing they could do. I only opened a claim with PayPal because they charged an additional $50 membership fee that was not authorized. You pay a $1 *** searches and addition money for additional searches. But then they make you pay a $50 membership fee after three days PLUS pay additional money for additional *** searches. I never got my money back for the incorrect *** report I basically paid $50 for three *** reports thats inaccurate!! Its an rip off.

They hide an automatic $49.99 subscription in their Terms and Conditions. You don't find out about it until they charge your card and send you an email. Cancelling the "subscription" is easy but they won't refund the money. What a scummy company.
