On December 12, 2021, I entered into an agreement with Mr. ******************** Quick Welding to remove an existing chain-link fence and install a iron slate gate with an electronic sliding gate motor for the driveway opening on my property. I agreed to pay him $4,050.00 in the form of three checks:Chk# ***- December 7, 2021 $ **** Deposit Chk# *** - December 12, 2021 $ 300 Motor for the electronic gate payment Chk # ***- Jan. 29, 2022 $2250.00 final payment We agreed he would remove the old gate, install rod iron white painted gate and with a lock and turn k*** When the work began I observed uneven posts, and spoke to him about it, but he advised me when he made his cuts I would not notice anything. On around December 7, 2021, the deposit was given to build the gates, but the installation did not begin until approximately January 7, 2022. I have photos to support my claims. On January 8, 2022, work began and continued on and off for several weeks until, what he considered to finished up on January 26, 2022. All during the time I observed some issues with workmanship and brought it to his attention. I observed uneven cuts, bubbles where the seams were welded, and the lower bar on the east side of the fence was unleveled as observed by my neighbors, who brought it to my attention; Covers were not fitting tightly in the cuts he made on site. Although, I paid him a final payment on January 29th, but it was an agreement with him to return to fix any concerns I had. As of this date, he has not returned.Despite numerous phone calls and text messages from February 2022 through May 2023,he continued to assure me, he was returning to solve his poor workmanship. As early as April 11, 2022, I texted him a message about the status of his return, expressed to him the gate was showing signs of rust. He was working on the neighbors home when I asked him to do what is right, he charged me $4050.00, but gave me a less than $4050 job. Please help me.
