My iPhone 13 ************** was cracked so I brought it in to Cellaxs in *********************************************************** on Tuesday April 16, 2024. The service for a replaced lcd screen was $384.13 the worker which has been the only guy we have seen in store or spoke with over the phone and through text said it would be ready in the morning Wednesday April 17. We (as in my sister and I) called to see if it was ready as soon as the store opened at 10 am, he answered and told us it won't be ready until later around 4-5pm. We then went to pick it up at 4:30pm on Wednesday April 17. The screen turned on and a pop-up said it was incompatible with Apple so the phone was not usable. He now proceeds to say it will take 3 weeks to fix the phone. Now discussing this issue with my boyfriend he called the store in hopes to get a refund or pickup the phone sooner than expected, and the owner said no refund it will be ready in 3 weeks but if it is not a 50% refund guaranteed. Now 3 weeks later, Tuesday May 7 I go into the store with my boyfriend to pick up the phone, the owner says my phone is in ***** about 3 hours away and no refund because "business is slow". Now he tells us in person that the phone will be ready Friday May 10 and sends us a text to confirm in writing that we will get 50% back if the phone is still not done. Wednesday May 8, the owner texted my sister and my boyfriend two separate messages saying it will not be ready on Friday and no money back. I have no name for the owner or store worker but he has reached out personally from his cell phone which I have *************). I still do not have my phone, I still do not know when or if it is going to work, and I still have not been given the refund I was promised. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a phone repair business. At this point I just want the phone and my money back. Him having my phone for so long feels like an invasion of privacy.
