In October 2022 I engaged ********************* from Pure Maintenance for help with mold removal. I paid in full and chose his services because they had a 100% warranty should the service provided not work. I paid 900$ and he came and fogged my apartment. He also took tests and told me afterwards it was mold free. After a few weeks the mold returned everywhere (on surfaces in kitchen and air) and I let him know. He finally came after some time to take tests again and see if we needed to re-service. At same time to double check I had two other companies come in and do a mold report from my home association. His report came back with 0 mold and the other companies had very high mold counts. The lab place after looking it up looked sketchy as well. After I told him he almost got mad that I got other testing, which leads me to believe it was a falsified test. Over the next weeks he requested all pictures and information from me to show that there is mold (which all my belongings were affected again and I had to do another complete cleaning and in end remediate in walls and floors, which could have been done months earlier should he have made the correct assessment). Since there was a warranty I asked him to either refund or just redo the fogging once everything was done (it costs thousands to do, he said he would. Now I have been trying to reach him since January and without responses anymore. Not via texting or phone. I have the warranty and everything signed and in my last request I just asked for a refund if he will not redo the service. According to him this is a new technology and they are the only ones doing it in ******* and I think there might be foul play involved when it comes to the testing and the fogging. And to just stop communication and not refund or show up for the work is unacceptable.
