Paid ticket clinic via website for a speeding ticket I received- payment was taken and Ive not received one email or correspondence at all. 30 days coming to an end and ticket still not taken care of.Business response

The client hired ** on 3/14/24, less than 2 weeks ago. The process takes several months to resolve. Everything is being handled as it should and there are no problems. If the client has any questions, he should call us at **************, and we will be glad to update him.Initial Complaint

I hired the Ticket Clinic to help with a speeding ticket my daughter recieved while traveling home late one night from seeing her brother off to his foriegn duty station. Once the Ticket Clinic recieved my money, they essentially ghosted me. I inquired through email as to what we needed to do as the court date approached, and the response was vague and concerning. They would have an update 2 weeks after the hearing. My gut told me we were getting screwed and I was right. No attorney went to the hearing. However my daughter and I did. She was honest and humble about her mistake and the judge dismissed the charge pending payment of a small fine and completion of a defensive driving course. Fast forward to a couple weeks (04/07/23) after the court date (03/28/23) that the Ticket Clinic's Lawyer, *********************, missed, a lady from the Ticket Clinic calls with great news! The ticket had been settled for a fine of more than twice what we paid and reduced to a regular speeding ticket.... I couldn't figure this out. Did they go back and undo what was already done? If we had not gone to the hearing, would my daughter have warrant out for her arrest? Or was it lie to cover their liability to actually represent her in court?To say the least, that's $500 I'll never see again. The Ticket Clinic, at best, appears to have clever marketing (thanks VINWIKI for nothing) and slimy business operations. The lady from the Ticket Clinic was stumbling for words when I told her that her how things actually played out. I should have known better since they are based in South *******, a well known hotspot for deceptive business practices. How do we have the reciept for the ticket if what I am saying is not true?Business response

I just received this complaint (11/8/23). This court date was a "pre-trial" date, not the trial date. Clients and the attorney are not supposed to appear at this court date. Attorneys do appear at the trial date. Our lawyer was working with the state/court for a dismissal which was going to occur at the next court date. Without being told to appear, the client chose to appear, without telling us, and the court agreed to the dismissal at the first court date. The result was obtained from our lawyers efforts, but the client must not have understood. It's a matter of the client not understanding the procedure of this court. We have been helping drivers since ****, with more than 5 million clients. We are hardly a "deceptive business".Initial Complaint

I hired The Ticket Clinic in December. I originally got a speeding ticket in June of the summer before 85/55 I believe. I havent had any tickets for years. After seeing all the Ticket Clinic ads that state dont pay that ticket and an 80 percent rate of success I thought I couldnt lose. I called them and they wanted ****** I gave them that then they supposedly went to court late due to the pandemic situation all this happened. Then I got an email saying I owed an additional ****** to the court. In all I paid ****** for a ****** ticket. I should have paid it to begin with. I dont understand what the point of paying them double was to get them involved. When I spoke to the sales person they made it sound like all the time the throw it out or lower it not in my case. I was preyed upon and I am a disabled vet on a fixed income. I was just trying to save my drivers license and pay my dues but this isnt right.Business response

We are a ******* law firm. This complaint is regarding a CA ticket. Please remove it from my ** profile as it has nothing to do with me. You've smeared my ******* law firm name with your "C" rating, when this is clearly a CA matter. Please be more careful before trying to ruin a company's reputation. You should know better.
