My Boyfriend booked this as a surprise for my birthday and it ended up being a nightmare. Arrived at our scheduled time 1:00pm, it took the person checking over everything about 45 min to complete. That put us almost an hour into our scheduled time 1:45 pm. The boat was defiantly not as described. EVERYTHING on the boat is broken and ripped. No radio, no compass, no maps as promised, no depth, no horn, broken anchor, unsafe steering. Nothing on this boat was luxury or well maintained as described on the website. We booked the boat until sunset. The boat was in such bad shape we ended up coming back hours early. 6:00pm to be exact, boat was rented until 8 pm. When I called the next day and complained about the issues and informed the "booking guy" we came back early he stated he would refund us for the hours use minus the gas. I was content. 4 days later I called back to inform him I had not received the refund yet or my $500 deposit. The man was VERY rude and told me I would be getting no refund. He also told me "good luck" with disputing the charge and he didn't care if I wrote a review. When complaining about the maps not given as promised and that the boat had safety issues He stated " you should have looked at your email better lady and your alive so the boat must be safe." This was such a horrid experience.
