Anderson Enclosures rebuilt our lanai cage after Hurricane ***. The final walk through was done on March 7th(Anderson Enclosures was paid in full on that date). About 4-5 days later the lanai cage started to creak and moan extremely loudly. Anderson Enclosures was notified immediately. TJ Anderson came out and inspected the cage. Per emails from Andersons they acknowledged that the cage needs to be repaired and that the screens need to be re-installed. Per the emails, I have Andersons says this is a simple repair. However, to date(April 28th) not one attempt at an appointment has been made to come and repair the cage or the screens that under warranty per our contract. I have even sent a certified letter(no response from Anderson Enclosures). However, on March 30th ******* Anderson called to tell me that she is being Catty to me and delaying my repairs on purpose and that she is blocking my calls and emails. I put a review on the BBB, Andersons responded with a slanderous reply stating that I was calling at all hours of the night intoxicatedI have my phone records and that statement is categorically false(I called her one time in the last 2 months on March 27th at 5;43 PM on her cell phone and I didnt speak to her because she had already blocked my calls). Anderson Enclosures has not tried to make even ONE appointment to fix our **********.

I am rejecting this response because:

Anderson Enclosures answer is full of untruths.   The ONLY reason Anderson Enclosures came to fix the super gutter within 2 hours was because they wanted the final check.  Everything I am about to say can be backed up by the cameras surrounding my home and the phone records I have(Anderson Enclosures is fully aware of this).   ******* had no reason to block my calls.   However, she called me to tell me she was being Catty and delaying my repairs on purpose and blocking my calls.   I never turned down any appointment for them to ************** the lanai cage.

The only reason Anderson Enclosures FINALLY came to fix the lanai cage is because I made a social media post with a video showing how much noise my ********** was making.   The entire community was standing behind me and couldnt understand why Anderson Enclosures would not come and fix their work.   Then, and only then did Anderson Enclosures decide to make an appoint with me.

Also, the ******************* had come out to re-inspect the cage and acknowledged that a repair was required.   When I spoke to one of the supervisors at the City, I told them that Anderson Enclosures was planning on coming to fix it(but there was no date set)the City informed me that they needed to file the necessary paperwork to do the repair.  I know the City called Anderson Enclosures and put them on notice to file the necessary paperwork.   I went down to the city yesterday(May 10th 2023), I spoke to one of the officials in the building department and they told me that Andersons Enclosures STILL had not filed the proper paperwork.   I told them that Anderson Enclosures had done the repair on 05-03-2023.   I also gave them pictures and video to prove they had done work without the paperwork  being filed and the engineers report.

Also to get Anderson Enclosures to come to do the repairs, I had to file a complaint with the *******************, the ************************* file a complaint against their license, put a post on social media and file a complaint with the BBB.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

Again, the mentioned statements are and remain an inaccurate depiction of what has taken place. With this final statement we will no longer be responding to you publicly. We have communicated with you through each step of the way from the date that you contracted with ** until the final day we were out to your home to make repairs. The county is aware of the changes that we made as well as our engineer. You were exceedingly upset because we weren't able to progress the county and the engineer along quick enough to meet your unreasonable requirements to the repair. You were made aware that both the county and the engineer had to approve what we were doing. We deeply apologize that the repair took a little over 3 weeks. We were at the mercy of others who didn't seem to care about how quickly they should move for you. You were made aware that it was not a structural danger but that it was a cosmetic issue that was causing the annoyance. Once everything was approved, we moved on to taking care of your cage. You have been impatient from the beginning and believe that people should jump when you say jump. Our industry is currently incredibly inundated due to Hurricane *** and unfortunately everyone is having to wait. Your lack of patience in the matter is the only thing that is causing a problem for your self. Anderson Enclosures consistently and always will stand behind our repairs and work and we have never had a problem going back out to make proper adjustments. We love our customers and our beautiful town. At this point we will be done responding publicly to your domineering and oppressive behavior.  God Bless.

We bought a home in March that Anderson enclosure built. It leaks everywhere. We contacted Anderson in April and asked them to come out and take a look at it. They told us they wouldn't come back out because we didn't pay for the enclosure. The original homeowner who paid for the enclosure tried to contact them. Still won't come out. The enclosure was completed on January 12, 2022. The house was for sale at the time of completion. We moved in march 1st. The enclosure started leaking with the first good rain. The cost of this enclosure was over 41000.00.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/26) */ Anderson Enclosures installed only a composite panel porch on the date indicated and closed out our permit successfully with passed inspections by the county on the first round. The original homeowner was extremely satisfied with our work. She even went through great lengths to leave multiple reviews on multiple platforms of her gratitude toward our work. Anderson Enclosures only installed the composite panel porch and not the roof and did not build the home as stated by the new homeowner. Additionally, the invoice was in the amount of $14,290 which is a small percentage of what is posted in comment. With the information provided to us the new homeowner it is leading us to understand that there is a misunderstanding and that it is possible that there were multiple contractors commencing work on the home. Upon completion of our project a rigorous 10-minute leak detection test was completed. Before Anderson Enclosures departed from the property there was a detailed inspection of our installed structure, and the original homeowner witnessed the test and signed off on our roof not leaking. The new homeowner contacted Anderson Enclosures and this information was provided to her in each of the multiple phone calls that she made. However, when the representative spoke with her it was difficult to effectively communicate anything on the phone that would be understood clearly due to her emotional state. We would be happy to honor our warranty if it was leaking however, it is not. Additionally, as noted in the contract provided to original homeowner warranty is void once homeowners tamper with or additional work is commenced on home that would cause damage to our install. Please see below for additional information concerning Composite panel porches which is also located in Anderson Enclosures contract. **COMPOSITE PANEL DISCLOSURE*** - Products such as the "Riser pan roof" and "Composite roof" are classified as a patio product. This means that their integrity is not held to the same standard as a live-able dwelling. Florida statutes state that composite panels are unable to be considered a livable dwelling because they are unable to be sealed to the same capacity as a roof under central air which is why there is no mandate by F.B.C (Florida building code) for it to be 100% leak proof. The products are tested rigorously and have a systematic plan for installations to prevent any water entry from occurring, however they are NOT assured to be 100% waterproof. Moisture from the air and condensation will always have access to entry points if the roof system has open air walls such as screen walls or acrylic/vinyl windows that are operable. Anderson Enclosures LLC will NOT guarantee that a patio roof system will have zero occurrences of a slight drip or moisture due to outside forces including rain, irrigation, condensation, or any entry point of moisture if the product is installed to comply with provided and stamped engineering and that has passed inspection by a city, county, or state building inspector. A copy of signed work order was mailed to new homeowner as well.
