I ordered corn and soy free chicken products on November 26, 2023 in the amount of $******* I met him at a local grocery store’s parking lot to pick up my order. He gave me his cell phone number (904-891-9277) as a means to communicate if there were any questions or problems. I waited a few days before cooking up the ground chicken. After eating one serving, I immediately had an allergic reaction, stuffy nose, GI distress, joint pain, brain fog, dizziness) all symptoms that occur I have inadvertently consumed products with soy or corn in them. I initially sent **** ******* a text message telling him of my dilemma and asking him to share what the diet of the chicken was since he advertised they were soy and corn free. I also told him I have other food items I’m allergic and/or intolerant to, so knowing the ingredients would be helpful, He stated he would take a picture of the food label and send it to me; which never occurred. I sent additional texts asking for him to please send me a list of ingredients or the picture of the food label he originally stated he would do in a previous text since I just purchased over $*** worth of products from him. I never received any responses from him. On ******* *** **** I sent another text to **** ******* restating the problem and asking for a refund of my order from November 2023 since I was unable to eat the products purchased from him. I also restated my request to see the list of ingredients of the chicken’s diets. I have received no responses from him and believe my text messages were being blocked by him. I have $*** worth of chicken meat that I cannot eat and no refund or other solutions offered by the business owner, **** ******* of Pastured Life with the exception of not responding and/or blocking of text message communications.Business response

Refund issued to consumer.
Consumer never communicated concerns or product issues via email, and instead sent text messages to delivery phone, which is not an official or reliable means of communication. Order was placed via our website, and confirmed via email.
We can only guarantee the product (chicken) to be free from corn and soy, consumer states other food sensitivities are present. Such concerns should have been made clear PRIOR to ordering and/or consuming said product so we can verify if said ingredients are present in our chicken(s) diets.
Consumer has placed 6 orders previously without issue or complaint.

I appreicate the company refunded for the order. Even though in the email one of the owners talks about the food label, they still did not produce it for me to view. But, I am satisfied that my issue has been resolved. Thank you for your assistance.
