      I began to communicate with *********************************, company owner on 10/3/23 about a granite slab that I saw on Offerup for my front entrance doorway. We discussed pricing on 10/6 and the work to remove pavers and install granite slab. He said he needed $750 upfront then the remaining $400 once work was complete. On 10/6, I zelled him $750 and he said he would send over invoice which he never did. Then he was planning to do the work on 10/16 but texted that there was a problem and couldn't do the work until the following week, Friday or the following Monday, 10/23. Then he said he could do the work on Friday but Friday came around and he couldn't cut the granite with excuses his machine broke. That's when I asked to return my money which he agreed and has not given me the money back to this day. Last Tuesday, I went with the police and he wasn't there so we called him and he said he would zelle the money by this Monday 5 pm and now he's disappeared. This guy is a big time scam artist and he's done this to multiple people. My next step will be a legal one.

      ********* stated that the slab was already cut prior to the consumer requesting a refund and it cannot be reused since it was especially made for ************' space. ********* has every intention to refund the money in good faith due to the consumer's reasoning. ********* acknowledge the delay he's had with refunding the money back to ************. He stated the delay has just been due to economical factors, having to come out of pocket on this slab, etc. ********* stated that before the 20th of this month he will have everything in order to refund the consumer via zelle or by mailing a check.

      I'm attaching some of the texts between ********* and me which clearly shows he's lying. I even went with the police and he didn't have the courage to be there and told the police he would send me the money via Zelle the following week and I'm still waiting. While I was there with the police, his partner offered to cut the slab but this was after almost a month of trying to work with ********* and I didn't feel like having any working relationship with them at this time and refused. Reason being, they have been very unprofessional and if the slab was cut wrong, I would have to continue dealing with them and getting more frustrated with this guy. 

      I will give him until the 20th of December 2023, and I'm not holding my breathe that he will come through with any payments. If he doesn't pay, I'll have no choice but to file a lawsuit against him, his partner and his companies and all of his properties and my attorney will request attorneys fees as well.

      Thank you for all your help. As you can see this ***** has no intention to resolve anything. I even offered for him to pay half and I would close the case. He assured me that he would pay by 12/20/23 and nothing. This is why I'll be going to court and suing this thief who should not be in business taking peoples money.
