I met with ***** to do our front landscaping and he seemed like he knew what he was doing and I was referred by our neighbor who he has done her landscaping for over a year. I received an invoice on Friday July 8th for $1410. He asked for me to pay a little more then 50% so he could pick up the plants and the materials. I paid him via Zelle in the amount of $892.50. He was suppose to remove all my old landscaping including a small tree and that add mulch, plants, weed fabric and diamond edging. He came out the following day and said he might be able to complete the job. He was at our house maybe for 2 hours started on the work removed some of the rocks then he left 3 trash bags and the tree laying on the ground he informed me he was going to the dumpster and would come back to much was in his truck. Hours had passed and I had texted him twice he finally responded apologizing that his normal nursey was closed he had to go find plants at another nursey and had a project which would be complete Monday or Tuesday. I contacted him Tuesday and Wednesday and he finally responded that he had a death in the family and would come back soon. A few days later he texted me that he had to pay for the funeral and he was broke if I could pay him the rest of the money he could complete the job since the nursery was holding our plants. I told him I was very sorry for his loss but if he came to finish the job I would pay him once completed he never responded. I tried texting and calling him a few more times and no response. It was all a scam and I finally was able to find some reviews and I am not the only person he has done this too.
