Cliff's Pool are conducting unscrupulous business practices. I received a notice that they were increasing prices the seconded time in 8 months. The first 20% increase I was never notified, they just started hitting my credit card for $** dollars more a month than agreed upon. I contacted them, they said they sent me an email. I never received an email, I went back and look at my span mail, trash mail. I knew it was not true. 2 April 2022, I received a notice from them post marked on 30 March that prices for their pool This is service was once again being raised by another $** a month due to gas prices and chemicals on 1 April 2022. I received the notice in the mail on 2 April 2022. I immediately called them as soon as I read the notice to stop service, I was put on hold and then told they would call me back as the person who handles this was on the other line. This is Certainly their choice to raises prices, but I was not afforded the opportunity discontinue their service. The hit my credit card for the $***, which includes the new increase on 1 APRIL 2022!!! I want a full refund on my credit card.Business response

The customer was made aware through multiple emails and physical mail sent to their home that the service price would go up on 04/01/22. Upon request of cancellation, we processed the refund immediately and the customer confirmed that the refund was received by them for the entire amount and the cancellation was finalized. We request that this complaint be removed as soon as possible.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Their response is a false narrative. Yes, they have refunded the charge. They called and asked me to with draw the BBB compliant. However, I never received a single email warning me of an increase. I received the letter informing me of the increase AFTER they charged my credit card. Had they sent "multiple emails warning me", I would have cancelled when I received the first one! I find it amazing that they have emailed me in past, but claim to have sent "multiple emails" to me about a price increase. Their response supports the claim of CLIFFS POOLs unscrupulous integrity and business practices of this company. I REQUEST that this complaint be posted to the BBB site to allow future consumers to make an informed decision before dealing with this company.
