On 5-19-2023 I had called and went in for an appointment for blood work in hopes of getting prescribed testosterone if my levels were too low or below the threshold of it being a serious issue. I had called many clinics before Liquivida making sure that they accepted individuals at my age to be prescribed testosterone because places have different policies. I was told not only by the person on the phone, but the 2 girls at the front desk ask the man that took my blood in the office that there would be no issue getting testosterone because of my age if I needed it. So after confirming that it was okay and I would be considered for that treatment regardless of my age I put down a $100 non refundable deposit. My blood work comes back and on 5-31-2023 I talk the doctor at the clinic which tells me even though my testosterone is lower than the threshold which would be considered extremely low I can not be prescribed testosterone because of my age and their policy. So now Im confused because I was told it was okay and they had no issue taking my money for the deposit and now Im being told that I cant be prescribed because of my age and they would have to give me a different medication. This was the only reason I put down the deposit, and if I was told before hand that because of their policy I was too young to be prescribed testosterone by them I would have never put down my deposit and went through with anything.At this point they had taken my money and trapped me so I agreed with the doctor and was given the the medication they prescribed me.Whats even worse is that I never even received the medication they prescribed me instead. It has now been almost 2 months since my first appointment with them and when I contacted them to resolve this issue of not receiving my medication, they told me its not their problem and that I had to talk to their pharmacy that they use? Which I have never talked to before. This is all very shady business practices.Business response

On May 19, 2023 client, *************************, made an appointment to come in and have his blood drawn for our comprehensive lab panel. **** used his health insurance which covers the cost of the labs. We do charge a $100 lab review deposit for guests who get their blood drawn. This fee is non refundable and was explained to ********************* He agreed to the fee and moved forward with the Lab Review appointment.
On May 31, 2023 **** came into office for Lab Review with our practitioner. During his lab review, our Practitioner, which is also our medical director, gathered medical history and went over complete labs. It was determined that due to Mr. ********* age, he was not a candidate for Testosterone. Our Practitioner recommended that ******************** try HCG to help his body to naturally create testosterone which will increase his levels. This was determined to be a safer approach. ******************** agreed to the recommended treatment plan and the $100 lab deposit was applied towards the purchase.
******************** left the office happy and ready to start his treatment. We followed our protocols and placed his order into the pharmacy we work with specifically for him. The pharmacy then sent the order placed directly Mr. ********* home.
On June 30, 2023 the order was delivered to his home and ******************** called the pharmacy directly to pick up the package. This was a decision that he made by himself, he was not instructed to do so. We reviewed the calls and the staff never stated its not their problem and that I had to talk to their pharmacy.
