We started a plan to construct a pool and patio with Thompson Pools and Spas August 12, 2021, as of today, November 30, 2022, they still have not finished the build, the pool is functional, but not complete. Current Issues include - A tabletop that is loose, they are using a construction adhesive that is not recommend for areas of continuous moisture.- Coping tile with large gouges on the front edge, coping that doesn't have consistent overhangs - Patio pavers that are crumbling/ chipped/ stained during pool construction - A non-functional pool heater - Poorly installed drain that isn't secured properly - Ground wire from the pool heater isn't properly installed - poor grout lines, cracks in grout - Water line tiles with grinder gouges - Unsquare construction of waterfall feature - Construction debris left behind, damaging lawn - We were told that we would get "pool School" lessons on how to care for and maintain the pool and equipment. That never happened, I have had to figure everything out on my own Thompson Pools and Spas has been notified of all these items and has come out to try to fix 3 times, after each time they show up the same issues pop right back up. the only thing they have fixed to date is reattaching a pool light.There is very little response from Thompson Pools, usually a week goes by before they respond if they respond at all. This company is poor at communication and follow thru, we have waited for our pool to be done for many months now. We wanted these issues corrected in a timely manner, at the rate they are going now if will be months before they are done. We've paid for this pool, but because the heater isn't working we cannot enjoy it.
