The email I sent them, which included a video of the bad brake pads installed, and I sent a bill - ______________ My apologies if his email is long- but I felt the need to send it. As you probably remember, I brought our 2019 BMW X3 in for new front brakes. You tried to save me money, but in the end I am out another $412.59 (see attached bill from BMW dealer), as well as look at the video they took for me. Once the pads were replaced by your mechanic, I took the car home and the brakes squealed a lot. I brought it back, your mechanic tried to fix them, actually took the car for a test ride, said nothing (the sound would be obvious), and again I took it home with the same loud noise. For the third time, I brought it back and we agreed to put on new brake pads and new rotors. Unfortunately, it was around the time we also needed to head up north, so for two days drove the car again with the brakes making noise. I finally today took it to the dealer. Please see his video. Obviously the pads, according to the video, were not BMW and defective. I'm not sure what exactly happened here, but my logic is saying that you replaced the rotors, but he did not replace the brake pads, or something else is happening here. I know from reviews you are an honest shop, so this does not make sense to me. My ask is that you consider refunding me for the extra work I had done to resolve the problem. If you have another option or think my suggestion is unreasonable, let me know. I may be missing something here, and know you initially wanted to save me money, but in the end it cost me considerable time and money.
