I contracted to build a house with Armstrong Homes in Nov, 2020. I do not have the exact date my driveway was poured. I believe it was in Sep or Oct 2021. Either way the day it was poured it rained really hard. Consequently the concrete did not set up properly. I spoke to the construction manager several times about the matter and he agreed something would need to be done. I agreed to close on my house Feb 18, 2022 with almost everything done except the driveway. Michael M******* of Armstrong Homes emailed me (copy attached) that they would have the driveway tested and fix the problems with the driveway.. The driveway was tested and results sent to Armstrong Homes on April 1, 2022. About May 1 Armstrong Homes contacted Modern Edge Decorative Concrete to look at the drive and give an estimate of what needed to be done. Although I spoke with the owner, he never came to look at the drive and finally told me he was working out of state and did not have time to do the job. I was then directed to find a company to do the job, get the price and Armstrong would write me a check. I turned in the estimate to them on June 30. To date I have not heard back from Armstrong Homes. The construction manager does not return my calls or texts. Messages left with the receptionist are not returned. I am a 75 year old widow who purchased this home and paid for it in good faith. Armstrong homes has not fulfilled the terms of our contract. My driveway is severally pitted, aggregate is showing in some places and it is pitched the wrong direction where it meets the garage door so that rain water flows under the door and floods the garage. This obviously is not acceptable and the builder needs to make this right.

I purchased a home from Armstrong on July 2021. A couple of weeks in, we had issues with the main bathroom toilet backing up, I was told that the plumber was coming by to check on this problem. The plumber literally drove up to our home, never came in to review it, and just said this had nothing to do with the toilet. Secondly, the guest bathroom tub had a punctured hole on the side of the tub that Armstrong homes covered up with white tape and paint, when I mentioned this, they denied it until their maid wrote them with a text message that she already informed them this was there, they of course repaired it. That same tub is now cracked at the bottom. They sent a company that partially repaired it, was to come back but was not allowed to. After some complaint, they allowed him to come back and as he stated "patch it up so that they could use the dam tub" his words. It literally looks like a patch up job, Armstrong is not returning my calls and they flat out refuse to replace it. This house is 5 months old and has so many things wrong with it. When questioned, they come back with "if not seen at walk through, then is not Armstrong's problem" I have a warranty? Why is this not addressed by them and why is it not Armstrong's problem. My front door's paint is coming completely off, my front porch columns are shifting off, and I have several large cracks in the foundation. Please help me.

Armstrong homes has been building my home for approximately 12 months. I was told the home would be completed in 9 months. I have received excuse after excuse. I have also been told they wished they'd used materials on another job because I've been so vocal about the completion of my home. They have been unprofessional and I do not wish to be contacted by them anymore because the level of unprofessionalism is profound. No one should have to work with this business. My husband is deployed and my completion date has been extended numerous times. This business is not acting in accordance with honesty and professionalism. My construction loan matures on 1/22/22. Now I'm being told the home will take several more weeks. Lack of communication and honesty is absurd. My husband is deployed and I'm caring for my three boys on my own. Yet again another holiday passes and they still have no home to celebrate in. I'm fed up with the dishonesty and unprofessionalism. I paid them to do a job that they simply are not completing. They also installed the wrong cabinets and think it's okay to still charge me full price. At this point just want the job done.
