  I hired Landscaping Sod & Beyond to replace my front walk and build a wall to help with drainage. Contract was signed and deposit paid around September 29, 2021. Work was completed and remaining payment was made on November 29, 2021. The employee named "Rob" was the individual we were dealing with. We were told the pavers had to sit for 6 months, and after that time, Landscaping Sod & Beyond would return and seal the pavers. We were told the sealing was included in the price. I called them in early June 2022 (I didn't make a note of the date) to coordinate a time for them to return and completely finish their job by sealing the pavers. No answer, and I left a voicemail message explaining that I was calling to set up a date and time for the sealing. Received no return phone call. I called again on June 10, 2022 (I made a note of the call date and time) and, once again, no one answered, but left another voicemail asking again to make arrangements for them to finish their job that I had paid for. Again, no return call. Total price of the job was $5,208. I contacted another company ********* Pressure Washing, who also seals hard surfaces, and was given a quote of $513.75 to wash and seal this area. Landscaping Sod & Beyond owes me a refund of $513.75 since they refuse to return my calls to finish the job I paid over $5,000 to them to complete.

  Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/28) */ Mrs.****** was informed that sealing the pavers is a separate service and not included in the original agreement . We as a rule always tell all customers that it is a separate service and can not be completed at time of install , as manufacture recommends paver sealing should not be done for 4-6 months after install to allow efflorescence to leave the pavers . Because of this we never offer sealing at time of install . All customers are told they can call in after the 4-6 months and schedule a free estimate for this service at an additional charge . Neither my husband nor I were advised that sealing the pavers was an additional charge. We both remember being told the details in the complaint. The response from the business also does not address why they did not return phone calls. They could have told us their "response" with a return phone call.
