      Went from a 3 ton to a 2.5 ton. Never looked to see that I was still on a 40amp breaker. Will NOT call back.

      This company are scammers. They falsely claim your heating / cooling system is not working or you have a leak and it can't be repaired. They then try and sell you a new system for $14,000. I have the proof to back up this statement.

      A tech came out to address the situation with our upstairs heating/air unit as it was not working.Checked the unit outside and said we needed a new defrost board to be installed. This was on 12/05/23 and they said it would take a couple of days. I called after a week and was told the part had to be ordered and it was a back order from Lennox. Called the next week, no return call. Called again and they told me it was still on order. Meanwhile we have had no heat in our bedrooms. Called again and they didn't call me back.. Finally after Christmas passed I called and left a not so nice message. They did return my call and told me another company would be calling me as they were able to get the part. Makes no sense. However, the new company, Air Rescue had the part within 3 days and came and put it in. They were very prompt and professional. I will be using them going forward.

      We were unable to get the part that was needed. I did advise the customer we do not keep these parts in stock as we do not primarily sell ****** systems, I referred her to a company that would most likely have the part in stock and I am pleased they were able to take care of the issue. I did keep in contact with the customer throughout the entire process and worked to find a resolution for her, by referring another company. I apologize for the inconvenience that it caused, this issue was out of our hands, as we were doing everything possible to assist.

      This company sold us and installed a heating and air conditioning system in November of 2022. We've recently noticed that the house is not cooling to the thermostat setting. I called this company repeatedly and eventually had someone come out to look at it. They added some freon and said it would be fine. The problem persisted. Since then, I've tried calling the office several times, often leaving messages with no reply. I also called and texted the sales person asking for help - again with no reply. Since the system is constantly running in an attempt to cool the house, my electric bill is considerably higher, even though sales assured me a new system would be more efficient and would lower my energy bills. To make matters worse, the cost to fix this may be even more if I have to find another company to take over maintenance. Can I give less than one star?

      UPDATE:

      The company did get in touch and replace the air conditioner condenser to match their Sales Order. The system is now running as promised at the time of sale.

      I am sorry for the issues you have encountered. As stated when you originally called it was after hours on the weekend. Our warranty work is during business hours as stated on our invoices. We did send a technician that following Tuesday and he made the necessary repairs to get you cooling. You have had a technician at you're home last year on 7/28/23 and again on 8/8/2023, since then we have not had any contact from you regarding an issue with your system.

      On Tuesday 3-7-23 they installed an entire new system in our house. Two days later we had no air. It quit working all together. For a week we made several phone calls, emails, and text to the individuals we bought this from. I know they read our text because it showed they read them. They never responded. It’s like they disappeared. Before we gave them $7880 they were on the phone with us every day. Only until I called our bank and they opened up an investigation on their company did we finally hear back. They sent someone out who determined the new install was in fact broken. Instead of replace it with a brand new working unit we have to wait for a part. This is where we stand. We just want them to replace the unit with a new one. Do the right thing as a reputable company. We have been without for a week already. If they make this right I will definitely retract this and let you know. Until then , I guess we wait.

      Service Star Cooling & Heating, Inc. was amazing! Brandon came out, explained everything in detail, and quoted a price. The next day Lynn and Jonathan (along with one other guy who was also great) were here on time and worked straight through until everything was replaced. They were wonderful! They were professional and friendly and gave us good tips on maintaining our system. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Unfortunately, another company with a similar name was here, trashed their reputation, and left. This was NOT Service Star Cooling & Heating! Trust them; you will not be disappointed!
