Shady company, almost never answers the phone. Hours listed as 9 - 4, M - F. Has 3 addresses listed, one in Silver Springs, one in Ocala and another in Ocklawaha; it's different on license and insurance. Has business name changes which makes me suspect law suits. Business advertised as being 8 yrs old but it opened in 2014, closed in 2015; then got reinstated just last year, see photos attached on Google review, directly from Florida's State Licensing page Sunbiz.org. That makes 2 yrs in business, not 8, which explains why they only have 5 reviews on their website which I can't access due to their firewall. A friend tried to get on their website and was also blocked with a flashing red warning page. Refuses to list me as certificate holder on liability insurance. Doesn't carry worker's comp. My point here is this company opened for a year, closed for 6 years, just reopened, has moved at least 3 times that records show, and lies about it. What else do they lie about? Keep reading... Then they offered me a discount based on a 10% special they are running, and rescheduled me an entire week out, citing that it was going to rain based on the weather forecast a full 6 days out. IT NEVER RAINED A DROP AND THEY DID NOT SHOW. Then I found out from a mutual friend that they actually went on vacation/out of town to see family for that week instead, so they should have been honest about that, instead of looking for weather excuses. They don't answer the phone and didn't meet with me to do a consultation, even though I kept asking. I was sure of my paint color for the house but not for the trim or soffit color, but Kristina kept putting me off for a consult. I told her I have to meet with her before they can start work, as I wanted to ask about all of the discrepancies with license, name changes, and address changes. Then they cancelled, leaving me hanging. PHOTOS INCLUDED on Google review OF STATE LICENSE INFO, which they deny to be accurate. BEWARE of this company.

We are sorry you feel this way. We did recently move which is why 2 different addresses are listed but you didn't ask. We had provided you with our workers comp exemption and specifically stated to you that the day we began work we would add you to our liability insurance as a certificate holder. This is our process, we don't add a client until we are to begin work. We had your paperwork printed out to give you today as you requested. We had been low balled on the price we offered you from the start of our contact with you and tried to meet you in the middle. When we came to provide the estimate you did not meet with us which would've been your opportunity to meet with us in person prior to the start of the job. We alerted you to the fact of weather disruptions on Wed. before Thanksgiving since we were planning to start on Monday the week of Thanksgiving and be completed by Wed. as we are closed on Thanksgiving and the Friday after. We both agreed to make a final decision on Sunday the day before the job was set to begin and you were ok at that time and in agreement with the job being started the Monday after Thanksgiving due to the high chance of rain (we did get rain Tues. & a little Wed. so there is a disagreement on that. Also, I'm not sure who this "mutual friend" is of yours but we were NOT on vacation and out of town Mon.-Wed. and were trying to make the best decision for paint adhesion in the short window we had with it being Thanksgiving week. The reason we didn't answer the phone the times you would call is either we were closed for business (we are open Mon.-Fri. from 9-4 and Sat. 10-1 except for being closed on Thanksgiving and the Friday after) or were working (we are a small family business) but I would immediately call back if we were open for business. Even when we were closed I still would contact you via text. There was never a time you didn't get a response from us or hear from us. The reason for canceling the day of is because of your constant changing plans: such as changing of colors multiple times (after being given the estimate), to agreements we've had, to just blatant disrespect to us. The day we were set to begin we had made plans to meet at the house we were to pressure wash and then go provide an estimate for your other home after that. That was always the plan but that morning at 7am you text us switching it around. Pressure washing is a short day and yes we did have plans to do another estimate this afternoon after completing what we had scheduled for you and by you switching things the day of it made us have to think about rearranging. We are a business. We make a schedule and we stick to it unless the weather has other ideas in mind. We cannot paint if it is even foggy out due to the moisture it will put on the surface to be painted. In closing, we do not have any lawsuits as that would be public record (viewable by the public) and have been K & L Paint It Well LLC since we opened in 2014.
