Saturday May 27, 2023. Franco showed up for a Mulch prep, small fruit tree install and mulch job estimate. He said it isn't that big of a job, and he would like me to add further work. Since he was scheduling me quickly and planting my little fruit trees included with the mulch install I agreed to 4 small trees removal, the crepe myrtles to have a bias cut at suckers to prevent regrowth. and a mid size mulberry tree. This was unplanned and a thank you for including the fruit trees planting in the mulch prep and install quote. Not a separate job, and an add-on as a thank you, which was made clear. Wed March 31, scheduled. No Call No Show. Texted in evening to reschedule. Monday June 5. No Call No Show. Texted in evening to reschedule. June 6. No Call No Show. Texted in evening to reschedule. I had to drive out of town on family matter - I told him I will drive back specifically for this job and he needs to keep his appointment. He replied. He will have time to start with the trees removal (add-on work as a thank-you for including the small trees planting in the mulch quote) on Tuesday June 7 and Wednesday June 8 will complete all the mulch prep and install. Start time 10 am. I told him I am driving in specifically for this appointment. He confirmed. He texted me for payment for the tree removal ( not a separate job, the job is the mulch, the trees are were an unplanned up sale add-on . I told him when I return for the mulch install next morning as the job was to be completed that day. I thought his asking was suspect. I drove into town for our appointment as promised. No call No show. Knowing I returned specifically for this job. The tree work was an add on and is not finished or adequate. I expect Franco to text to reschedule again. If he doesn't show 4th time I am submitting BBB for resolution. As the work has now been started I feel stuck to resolve for the completion. The work started was unneeded and an add-on to the mulch work requested that has not begun.
