I took my pet to Le Pup in Clermont, FL on July 3, 2023 for a 12:30 grooming appointment. My pet has been going there for years. I picked my pet up, I was told by the cashier that the groomer said she nicked my pet's right ear because my pet moved. I was told the groomer did stopped the bleeding. I looked at her right ear and it was a blackish color around the outer ear. I told the cashier that this is not a nick and the cashier agreed. I check the left ear which was nicked and pointed that out to cashier that the groomer had yet to mention the left ear. The cashier called Nick C****; one of the owners, who was out of town. Cashier text a picture of the right ear and Nick told me that they would reached out to the groomer to find out what happened and would call me the next day. I asked if I should take her to the veterinarian; and, they said no. But, I took my pet to the Veterinarian on July 5. And she was pretreatment for infection and I was given a cream to remove the glue on her right . Vet could not completely examine the right ear because of some glue substance the groomer used to piece the ear together. I stopped by Le Pup's to give a copy of vet bill around $120 My pet followed up on July 19 with the vet. My pet's right ear couldn't be repaired because piece of glued together ear were falling off. The owners avoided calling me. I would stop by Le Pup to see if I they would be there. I was able to catch up with the owners on July 19, 2023. I was reimbursed as promise by the around $73 (grooming + tip). I told him that I have a problem with the lack of communication from them and the deception on how bad my pet's right ear was injury. I asked him what glue did the groomer put on my pet's right ear. He stated that he didn't know because the groomers brings their own supplies. I told Nick left one vet bill for my pet had a appointmet July 19. He said they don't pay vet fees. I ask groomer's name and he said Raymar. ***** ********* ***** 2nd owner (wife)
