On 11/13/2020, I went into an agreement with Saltwater Builders.com to design a land dock with a gang ramp to a floating dock in the amount of $20,000. I paid the deposit up front of $10,000 on 11/13/2020. I waited 2 years for the project to get completed. The project did not get underway until 3/4/2022 at which time the river was up and not in its natural bank. Once the dock was completed and the river went down into its natural bank the floating portion had been placed in an inaccurate place and needs to be moved about 3' out. I received confirmation that the dock indeed needed to be moved out and an agreement was made that I would buy a Metal gangway at $7000 - the current gangway was bowed and in the incorrect position on the dock. The company would take on the cost of moving the dock into the proper position Per a conversation between myself, *********************** and Forest via conference call 8/9/2023. I have not received any more communication other than an email I sent on 8/10/23 to confirm the conversation. Today I received a disturbing conversation via text with Forest that they were waiting for a deposit - I never received a revised invoice nor was I told about paying another amount of money up front before they would fix the mistake that they already agreed to repair. Apparently, they do not want to uphold the verbal conversation we had in response to a revised invoice by claiming to "have so much going on that it had slipped their mind. I find the company to have delt in bad faith by not doing its due diligence in locating the geographical survey for the natural riverbank, to make sure the dock was placed in the proper location. I just want to get the project completed in good faith like we discussed and get it handled Quickly. 3 years is plenty of time to handle a customer issue and I have been more than accommodation and patient.Customer response

May 12, 2022 Re: Invoice # **********, dated 8/18/2020, with a 50% Paid Deposit of $18,500 After almost 2 years, all attempts to contact Saltwater Builders have failed to produce any favorable response relative to the installation of my dock system. When I originally asked about the time frame on August 18, 2020, you stated that the dock would probably not be finished until after Christmas, and possibly into the new year (2021). Two months later nothing had been started. After discovering responsibility for the building permit was not clarified in my invoice, I obtained the required permit from the Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) to ensure I had not caused the construction delay by omitting this essential component. When you learned that I had obtained the necessary permit, you called and reprimanded me for doing so. You said you were upset and in the process of doing that yourself (obtaining the permit). A year later, you mentioned that my dock was constructed months ago and was being stored at your facility. I spoke with one of your partnered customers that you assigned to my invoice and asked if he was satisfied with your delay, but he failed to acknowledge any problem. I was not aware that my acquisition of my permit may have blown the whistle on what may have been construed as deceptive activity on your part (thus sidelining my dock system). On March 22, 2022, I contacted you requesting my dock be delivered prior to Memorial Day. As of this date, May 12, 2022, you have again ignored my request and failed to contact me. As an elderly widow, I sense that you may have misappropriated my deposit; there is no rational excuse for you to punish me by sidelining my installation indefinitely. Furthermore, as advised, you may have sold and installed my dock to another customer. A review of permits on the river(s) indicates docks purchased after mine have been installed. Please respond to this within 7 days with a firm delivery dateBusiness response
