    Do not use this company. When you try to cancel them they will not answer emails or phone calls and will continue to bill you even after you think the contract is canceled and then hit you with added fees.

    Please be aware of this company and do not let this company mislead you and be stuck with 3 year contract. On their site they advertise no long contract terms as well as being told by the sales rep. **** you want to cancel due to their product not working for your business, they slap you with $3500 cancellation fee

    Total incompetence. I was sold a bill of goods about there ability to do menus. After the training i told them they did not meet my requirements and let me know how to return equipment and they have harrased me ever since even though i told them i want to return their equipment.I searched around and found sevrral other companies to deal with.

    DO NOT USE! Company refusing to help term contracts and auto renews on purpose without any communication just to money *****. They are trying to force payment for 3 years even though we do not use services. Reps are horrible to work with. MONEY GOUGERS.

    Please, please do not use this service. If we could give negative stars we would. We have been charged service fees from finance that the account rep saying do not pay these service fees as finance just added them to invoices. Billing is extremely confusing and incorrect, trying to pass on random fees that have not been communicated or charging for services that aren't installed. efforts to contact their team have been spotty and ineffective due to turn over and poor management. The mismanagement of our relationship from Spectrio is extremely frustrating. They internally reviewed all of our frustrations and deemed that they are not at fault and we are stuck in our contract.

    After reviewing the account in its entirety, there have been some issues from the start of this customer relationship. There were problems during the installation process that were addressed and reimbursed by Spectrio. At one point during the relationship, there was a new service fee which was removed/credited when requested by the customer. As far as we have been able to assess, the customer originally signed up for three of our services across all of their business locations - including scent, Overhead Music, and On-Hold. We removed the *************** when requested by the customer.  Overall, we believe that ********************** has made every effort we could to resolve issues for the customer but we understand they may still have frustrations. If there is anything further we can assist with, the customer may reach out to our Accounts Receivable team at any time.

    I took over a business in August of 2020, and the services that came with it. On 10/30/2020 that I realized the mistake of continuing Spectrio, as we did not have a need for it and especially not a 3 year agreement. I reached out and spoke with the company within 2 months about changing the contract terms/terminating services. I was told after one year on the service something could be done - I should not have trusted this. Fast forward to Nov 2021, I brought up the same scenario, and my options were to continue paying monthly, or pay out the contract in full. Unfortunately, as a small business we have no use for the services, and I have never worked with a company that is not willing to compromise with you in cancelling services that are not a good fit. It is unfortunate that this has happened, and I have come to this point of reporting on the BBB. But here we are approaching year 2, and I received a bill for a 10% increase in prices and an additional line item of a $119.98 service fee. We now owe $620.16 for a service we do not utilize. This is also a breach of contract, which has listed our monthly service fee of $34.45. I feel that I have now been taken advantage of even further, as there was no notice of an increase in prices or an additional service fee. I hope this serves as a warning and lesson to other small business owners to do your research on companies you choose to work with, and refrain from being held hostage on a 3 year contract for a product you have not even had the chance to try. Within 60 days I let the company know this was not going to be a good fit, and they still had no customary mercy for my request to cancel my contract moving forward. I am asking to terminate our contract and dismiss the current invoice immediately.

    We have reviewed the account and all associated emails and notes. In August 2020, the customer signed a ******** contract with ********************** to provide ******* services for their business. We do not have any notes on the account regarding an offer to cancel their contract after one year, however there are emails indicating that they had switched to a VoIP phone system at some point in early 2021, and our team provided their on-hold audio in the format needed for their new phone system so they could continue to use the services they were paying for. To clarify, Spectrio's contract includes language around price increases because our costs of doing business can - and do - vary, however, we did remove the service fee at the customer's request. A cancellation case has recently been created on the account but if the customer has any further questions they are welcome to reach out so we may assist.

    This company continued to raise my rates for my On-Line Hold messaging. As a small business, it is not feasible to keep this service. I called to cancel my subscription and they informed me it was a three year contract and I would have to pay the remaining amount of the contract. I read over my contract and found out they had been over billing me for five years and were in breach of their own contract. They are so far refusing to work with me to cancel this contract without charging me or even to reimburse or give credit for over charging. I have been struggling with this business for over three months to resolve this matter.

    Update: The company did respond to me within ten minutes of posting the original review. I am guessing the review is what it took for them to step up after months of phone calls and emails. I am so glad I decided to leave this review! I am leaving the one star in place because it definitely should not have gone this far in the first place. I am also leaving it as a warning to anyone else using this company. My contract specifically stated they would not raise my price more than 10% of the list price for the length of the contract. They breached this agreement raising my prices much more than 10% for my 2017 contract and again when I renewed it in 2020. I never caught this until I tried to cancel due to the constant rate increases. They wanted to bill me for the remainder of the contract without ever addressing the fact they over billed in the first place. Had I not read my contract carefully, I would have never caught this. Read your contract and check your billing!!

    If I could give zero stars, I would. We signed up with Screenscapes and were initially happy with the service. Their company got bought and the design/format changed thanks to Spectrio. We were promised assistance, templates to be transferred...etc. None of that ever happened. We requested to cancel our service TWO YEARS AGO as the new design format was inoperable for our needs. They completely lowered their product offering and held us hostage on a 3 year contract. We had to climb the corporate ladder to get anyone's attention. Everyone on the customer service level seemed unequipped to settle anything and constantly complained that their managers were too busy to respond or help them. We received an email officially saying that we did not have any outstanding bills and that we could move on - without any means of a refund towards trying to cancel our service for the last 2 years. Then shortly after they send us a $600+ bill for the devices without ever prompting to send them back or notifying us where to send them to since they are owned by a new company. Spectrio is a complete scam and waste of your time. BUYERS BEWARE.

    We are sorry to hear that your experience with Spectrio did not meet your expectations. There are no notes on the account to indicate any technical support issues or problems with the operation of your digital signage services after Screenscape was acquired by Spectrio, which was confirmed by our support team internally. However, we do understand that the services that Spectrio offered were different from what Screenscape had originally provided for your business so we understand your frustration with the change. Per your comment about a refund, we were not able to "refund" anything as you were not billed by Spectrio for any services throughout our relationship - notes indicate your billing was scheduled to begin on 6/1/22. Regarding the non-returned equipment charge: generally, when a client requests cancellation, within a few days of finalizing the cancellation process, the client will receive a communication to indicate where they need to return our equipment. It appears that there may have been a miscommunication during this part of the process and we sincerely apologize for any confusion. Someone from our team will be in contact soon and Spectrio will be covering any costs to return the equipment. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with.
