The following account outlines my experience with a boat refurbishing company that I engaged in June 2021. At the time, I was enthusiastic about having my boat repaired and upgraded, and I paid for various services, including a brand-new interior, new paint, a new floor, a new t-top, and new motors. The company assured me that the floors would be made of foam, which I found appealing.However, the situation quickly deteriorated from there. Instead of timely progress and excellent service, I have been confronted with nothing but a series of delays and excuses since then. It has been 36 months, and my boat remains unfinished, with no motors and no progress on any promised services.To compound matters, each time I attempt to contact the company to inquire about the status of my boat, I am met with vague responses and additional excuses. Despite numerous assurances that my boat would soon be completed, I have yet to see any concrete progress.I am deeply frustrated by this entire experience and feel that this company has taken advantage of me. I hope that by sharing my story, others will be aware of the hazards of hiring specific boat refurbishing firms. The company has failed to fulfill its commitments despite receiving our payment. When I requested a refund, they informed me that they do not have the funds to return to me. Instead, they delivered an empty frame of my boat. When I initially purchased the boat, it was in good working condition and was already in the water.The entire experience has been a nightmare, with the company wasting my time, money, and effort. Their unprofessionalism and failure to deliver on their promises have left me with an unfinished boat and significant financial damages. I have attached the receipt and pictures of what the boat looks like now and how it appeared when we left it in their facility. I am seeking assistance in obtaining a refund to enable me to take it elsewhere to have a functional boat.
