            A collections agency contacted me with a bill of ******. Upon contacting them, I discovered it was for an account from a "********************************************* corporation," which they claim was set up in February of 2017. At that time, I was in an inpatient treatment facility and had no access to any technology. I have never ordered this service, and have never received anything from the alleged company. I say alleged, because prior to contacting the BBB, I tried all avenues of contacting the service directly. The fact that I have never ordered, received or given the opportunity to cancel this service, and yet have a bill which has greatly damaged my credit, is demoralizing. These crooks have put a major dent in my ability to progress by potentially irreparably damaging the credit which I have worked tirelessly to increase. I do not know what to do next, as it is unfeasible to pay the close to 1000 dollars for services I never received, or intended to receive, and I cannot continue to allow my credit to be affected. Any advice or support that you all are able to provide will be greatly appreciated.

            They called 3 years ago, insisted that for $85 I could renew the New Yorker even though I was an existing subscriber. Then they called again and said that I had to pay an additional $75 or whatever because I was an existing subscriber. I said no, and send back the money. of course they never did. now they call every month or two wanting to renew our subs even though I tell them I wouldn't deal with them in a million years. What a business.
