I leased a vehicle on July 7, 2021. When I got home and was able to look over the paperwork I realized I was charged $1784 over the agreed upon sales price. The finance manager would not disclose to me the money factor rate and informed me she raised the sales price because I did not put any money down. I have met with the general manager and have gotten no resolution. This has been the WORST experience ever!Business response

The General Manager *** ******** met with Mrs. ******** ***** on 10/01/21 to review her paperwork. *** ******** showed her all of the documents that she signed, and everything was correct and order. Since ******** ***** did not pay her 1st lease payment due up front in a 48 month lease, she rolled it into the price and now only has 47 payments left. This deal was completed in July on 2021. There is nothing wrong with any of the paperwork or process we did with ******** *****. We have no idea why she is upset or complaining with the BBB.Customer response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:
Everything is NOT correct. It is not right to raise a customer’s sales price without disclosing to them. My payment is $1427 and with the other fees that were said to be added to that sum up to $1693. There was an additional $1784 added to my sales price and no one can explain to me the difference. I am in the car business and have NEVER added to the sales price to account for a “first payment”. When in the finance office we asked ****** if we could make our first payment and she said, “no, WE are taking care of that for you”. If they were taking care of it why would it, and more, be added to my sales price?? Then when asking questions about all the numbers and requesting my money factor rate she told me she could not disclose that information to me due to Mercedes-Benz anti trust laws. Nothing about this is right.
Regards,
******** *****

When the client agrees to 48 months of payments in a lease, the 1st payment is required by the bank and 47 payments are remaining as the lease contract shows. When the client wants to do a zero out of pocket, not even the 1st payment paid up front like the contract says, then that payment gets added to the sales price and the client still only has 47 payments left. I do not need to upload any forms or agreements because we agree with everything that is uploaded already.
