On August 11, 2022 we purchased a 2016, Nissan Maxima from Twin City Motors, a. local used car dealership. After leaving the car lot that evening I immediately discovered that there were issues. I was en route towards home, i drove approximately 10 miles, i exited off of the interstate, sat at the stop light and when the light turned green....."the car i had literally just signed to purchase and drove off with" would not accelerate above 10mph. I called the dealership immediately and spoke to "****", the owner. He wanted me to get parked and bring it back to him on that Monday ( this was Saturday ). Mind you...the vehicle would hardly accelerate. On that Monday AM, i took it to **** at the car lot. He came out, hooked up a device ( a scanner which diagnoses vehicles issues) to it under the steering wheel. He stated that the computer only needed to be reset. He then asked me to wait for him as he went inside his office. Approximately 10 minuutes later, he came back ouside specified a particular transmission shop that he suddenly wanted me to bring my car to, for them to check out. I did so, and had it towed there and on Thursday evening **** called me and said my cars transmission fluid pump had wemt out and that the vehicle would not be getting repaired because the cost was very expensive. He stated that he was going to a Vehicle Auction on following Monday and he offered to purchase something there that would be of similar type and cost of my vehicle. On that Monday i called to touch base with him and he informed me that he wasn't going to do a trade or offer any other deal to work with us at all. My Ins Co had adjuster go view my car, it still sits . DMV states it is still registered in our names while sitting at ****s lot. My ins Co. has directed me to retrieve my car, i plan to do so. I have called **** numerous times, i get no answer. I will continue to try, as well as to retrieve my car and somehow have repairs made. I need my vehicle.

      To whom it may concern,

On Aug 6, 2022, (not on August 11,2022) ******* ****** *** and ******** ****** purchased and finance 2012 Nissan Maxima (2016 Nissan maxima). At the time of purchase, Twin City cars sold the mentioned vehicle to the ****** As Is with no warranty nor any promises made by dealer. Just to be fair to ******** ******, on the same day, ******** has call me approximately 6 hours later to inform me that the vehicle lost power and would not go over 10 miles per hour, I reply to her to minimize driving the car and bring the vehicle to us to see if  we can help with anything, I have recommended to her to tow the vehicle to us. next day, *** came in by driving the vehicle, she stated the vehicle was fine. I hooked up the Obd machine to read what code was stored in the computer, based on that, I informed ******** if she can leave the vehicle here so I can take it to the mechanic shop that We deal with for further diagnostic, she replied: can I bring it in the morning. so I have set up the appointment for her at 9 am next day. next day, ******** did not show up for the appointment. five days later, ******** went to the mechanic shop, at that time, The shop asked her if she can leave the vehicle there to diagnose, ******** showed up without having an appointment. ******* ****** offered ******** ride home so she can leave the vehicle there. ******** refused to leave the vehicle there and stated that she would come back next day in the morning. once again, ******** did not show up next. a week went by ********, called me to inform that she would be dropping off the vehicle next day, I replied with no problem. ******** drove the vehicle for over 10 days and damage the vehicle completely. The communications was clear And constant between Twin City Cars and ******* ******, on the other hand, the communications between ******* and ******** ****** was poor. And I guess Twin city Cars is caught up in a difficult situation between ex-husband and ex-wife. In the event, ******** wants to pick up the vehicle, Twin city cars has no problem releasing the vehicle to ******** after paying the balance owed on the vehicle.
