I too would leave a 0 if I could. I was misled into purchasing a new AC. Prior AC was only 4 yrs old but tech said it was 10. Tech showed photos of unsafe new ACs for next yr and said I should get one before next yr since they can blow up. Tech said that he read tag on AC showing an age of 10 yrs. Once AC was in driveway, I found tag and it was only 4 yrs. When he was asked why he quoted yr 2014, he stated that his eyesight is poor and he misread the tag. I tried to discuss with owner of company. Owner agreed with tech that the unit must not have been able to be repaired, yet did not state what was wrong with it. Originally called them for annual tune up. Old unit was leaking water from pipes in front of unit. New unit leaking water in same area. Tech then said that it was normal condensation. Shady business if you ask me!!!

I am sorry that you feel this way. When the technicians came out you told them that the system kept having problems and you wanted to upgrade your system to a 2-stage system. Your current system was a 2019 ******* that needed repairs. (We have pictures of the coils from the ******* system that needed to be replaced because it was leaking) We have serviced your home located at: ************************************************** since 2022. Our technicians were there on 6-14-24 where you signed the invoice to upgrade the system, the new system wasn't installed until 6-21-24 after having your neighbor who you said was a retired electrician come to give a second opinion. You had 7-days to change your mind from when you signed the invoice to upgrade the system until the system was installed. Please read the front and back of your invoice, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.Review from AL J

Rating would be '0' stars if it were an option. We are still continuing to have issues from Service Star's installation from 4-5 years ago. Cutting corners and not replacing the necessary parts is very poor. Charged for a new slab when the existing one was the one used. Very difficult to get anyone to return our calls and gave us the runaround. Unless Service Star rectifies their errors we do not recommend them to anyone.Service Star Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. We installed a Rheem 17 seer system at your mothers house May 28, 2017 which passed the county inspection July 19, 2017. The last time we heard ANYTHING from this address was August 2019 when we did parts warranty work on the board and low pressure switch and DID NOT CHARGE you mother any labor because she was so kind. (She paid $0) We haven't received any phone calls since, we have 24/7 answering service and never have we received any messages for this address. So I do not know why 5 years later you are writing this review, but we do wish you much happiness with your HVAC system.Customer Response

The list of issues from the install 5 years ago remain to be a problem. The emphasis on the capitalization of 'ANYTHING' and 'DID NOT CHARGE' is another demonstration of Service Star's customer service, unprofessional. We recently had several certified AC professionals come out again to address the ongoing issues.Review from Armand C

Just want to share a positive experience In having my Air Conditioning Ducts & Clothes Dryers Duct Cleaned.
After researching 7 companies found a VERY GOOD One. Highly Rated by Both ************ & The Better Business Bureau: "Service Star Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc.", ************************ Orlando.
Their price was extremely reasonable, they arrived on time, and their work was high quality and thorough. The 2 technicians (Chris & James) were a pleasure to work with, making clear what was being done and why. I would definately HIGHLY RECOMMENDE them.

I was extremely impressed with technicians professional and knowledgeable ways,he informed my husband and I of all work that was done and our house needs, gave insight to any work that may need to be done in the future.One of the pleasantries was the price of this service a refreshing fair price for work done in todays world.
