I moved out April 22 2024 a few days later I received an email saying I was not charged for cleaning fees so I asked about my security deposit. No response. I called and asked about it they said they would call back and let me know. But no one has gotten back. They said it takes 60 days to complete its been over 60 days and no one has returned my calls or emails. Im just asking about my security deposit and if I am getting it back but no one can give me a straight answer. The apartment was recently bought out and the new owners are just running a scamBusiness response

In reviewing the file, this resident does not have a security deposit that was paid. The previous company used Sure Deposit, which works in the same manner as a bond. Resident has the option to pay non-refundable fee in leu of 1 month's refundable deposit. The fee was generated according to the credit at time of application. This resident paid a fee of $350 which guaranteed the community up to $2000 in damages or balance due from resident at time of move out. In the even that there was a balance, Sure Deposit pays the property and take collection action against the resident. This resident left the apartment home in good condition and moved out completing the lease term. No fees other than final utilities were charged.
