I do not understand the negative reviews from the below customers. I've been dealing with and supporting (by personally purchasing ancient Bibles) through their Director, **************************** III, and have had nothing but wonderful and informational conversations with him, and also the Owner of this prestigious company.The knowledge of this representative, ********************* of Ancient Bibles is "encyclopedic" and I call him from time to time just to catch up on the newest offerings. Since **** I have purchased a total of 12 Ancient Bibles, the oldest being my **** Geneva Bible and my 1612/13 King ****** both of which are immaculate for the age of which they are. Only two of my purchases have been in need of a new binding but sometimes I would have Starr Bookbinders rebind several just because I wasn't thrilled with the selection or color of binding on my purchase, it was of a personal taste.If you want to have a delightful conversation with ********************* call and ask him about his personal purchase of a **** Large Folio (Pulpit) Bible. I would love to see it knowing that now most of these are already in the hands of serious collectors (they can cost upwards of $400,000.)! Greatsite has, by far, the largest selection of ancient Bibles that I've seen, and over the years I've scanned the Internet!I find the below negative reviews extremely disturbing, and being able to read only these negative reviews I'm wondering if these folks were either having a bad day, or those to whom nothing would please!Sincerely,***********************

*****: thank you for your review of our company, **************** / GREATSITE.COM We have well over one hundred reviews on ******* Yelp, Trip Advisor, and other such platforms, and nearly all of them are "5 STAR" positive reviews from very pleased customers. Unfortunately, regarding the "BBB" - Better Business Bureau - this is the place online where people tend to go ONLY to complain and never to praise a company. Your review is a much appreciated exception to this pattern. As I mentioned in my reply to other BBB reviews here: all of our few negative reviews here are from women who NEVER purchased anything from us, but rather, they simply did not like what I said to them. They took offense because they were behaving very foolishly, and I had to firmly (but politely) ask them to stop, and they took offense. Honestly, some of these people were almost certainly profoundly mentally ill, (as at least 1% of the population are). Take for example, the woman who emailed me a blurry picture of a featureless ***** rectangle, (said to be a book cover... with no photos of any interior pages), along with a photo of her in a bikini (???)... and then asked me to provide a detailed appraisal of the value of her book based only upon that one photo and no other details! That's insane, right? When I told her that was insane, she filed a BBB complaint. These BBB complaint reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt. Sadly, there is just a lot of mental illness out there, and when you deal with ****** customers per year... a few dozen of them are inevitably going to be nuts.So again *****... thank you so much for taking the time to say here that your experience with **************** / GREATSITE.COM for the past 20 years has been a positive one.
