Steer clear, most likely youre dealing with Jose ***** or Jaime ********* who use this store to double dip. Nothing is custom and it is all overprice, do your own research. This company was involved with a home remodel and the work was left unfinished, what was done was beyond sub-par, they have shady bussiness practices and don't supervise their own workers. I had workers peeing on the side of my house. I had to be there to supervise their work and make sure little things like holes in the drywall were cut out for the electrical outlets. Jose is not a general contractor he just uses someone elses license. This horror story goes on and on, Do yourself a favor and run. Don't pay him in advance, I didnt, thankfully, and I'm still here trying to warn ppl. He tried to steal my money and the bank stopped him.

This company started a bathroom remodel for me and never completed the job and all communication ended. I have to incur additional expense

If you're considering using Remodel Surplus (also known as RS Construction), run to the nearest exit! Whatever Jose Ortiz (the owner) says is a complete lie! He'll promise you fantastic results and craftsmanship and you will get horrible service and substandard work! We paid him over $41,000 to demolish the master bathroom and kitchen, remodel the bathroom and kitchen and remove and replace all of the flooring throughout the entire house. We added paint to the project and that's where the wheels came off. The painter was obviously on some kind of drugs. He showed up the 1st day and spent the day patching the nail holes with way too much Spackle and smoking cigarettes. He didn't show up on day 2 at all and the "project manager" never checked on him. He showed up for a few hours on day 3 and got nowhere. He didn't show up on day 4 or 5 (again no one checked on him) and they fired him on day 5. Jose promised a 5 man crew would come in on the weekend to finish the paint. We got 1 guy and a day worker (who knew nothing about sanding with the grain). They slapped paint everywhere without completing any sanding or prep work. The paint is atrocious. And if I hadn't covered the $12,000 worth of uninstalled new kitchen cabinets they would have splattered white paint all over them. After that, work degraded quickly. The tile guy installed several of the wrong color tile (mixing beige and gray) and that was just the first problem. He didn't use enough grout and got sloppier every time he had to return to fix something. He had to return at least 4 times to fix stupid mistakes. Again, the project manager NEVER checked his work before letting him leave. In fact, none of the workers that showed up here had the right tools to complete anything correctly. They used 5 gallon buckets to stand on (rather than ladders) and the tile guy needed a new saw blade (very rough cuts) and when we pointed it out, the project manager said "it's not my saw." It gets worse but...
