I would give zero stars if I could, or negative. I booked my rental car well in advance via Priceline. I arrived slightly before my rental appointment around 10:05AM rather than 10:30AM. The agent in the virtual booth stated the other customers did not return the size vehicle I requested yet, so they tried to up charge me for a midsized. I said no, I'll wait a few more minutes for what I paid for. He said he'd call me. It's 10:33AM and he didn't call me and it was past the time of my reservation at this point. I go back in, ready to pay, it's now 11:00AM and beyond. The agent said my card declined although I called my credit card company live on the phone in the booth. Both my credit card company and myself confirmed on our ends that no declined transactions went through - meaning, this man in the virtual booth was declining it on his end before the transaction even tried to process. He was playing games because I wouldn't pay any additional fees other than just paying for the car I pre-paid for through Priceline. After the third attempt with my perfectly fine credit card (plenty of funds), the agent in the virtual booth said my account was on hold and locked for 4-8 hours because of "too many attempts on my ***** *** had to call Priceline for a refund-I called Priceline. Priceline **************** said they tried calling the car rental agency and it went to voicemail. There was nothing they could do but leave me stranded at this dumpy car rental facility with other angry customers and no workers in site. Thank GOODNESS there was a fantastic rental place right across the street, Advantage. They saved the day, got me a wonderful car, and it was cheaper than my original purchase through Priceline/"Just Right Global Cars" which I guess is called ACO Rent A Car on ****** and elsewhere. This company scams so many people - other customers were in there around the same time as me also rejected or screaming. The only people they give cars to are those that pay extra-maybe.
