      The installation of the air conditioning unit was performed May,13,2024 and paid $7280.00.May 28-2024 installer came to provide service as the unit was not cooling and the thermostat was replaced. The same afternoon a service call was made as the unit was not cooling.May 29, 2025 Called for service no one returned call.May 31, 2025 Called for service no one called back.June 10-2024 Installer came to provide service and diagnosed that the *** Valve had problems (he spent 6 hrs performing tests). Performed incomplete work.June 12,2024 called for service and spoke with ***** and made an appointment for 06-14-2024.June 14, 2024 Technician came and installed the *** Valve and left the job half done. There is a water leak in the drain pipe and the Plenum is leaking air.June 2024 called for service and spoke to ***** and he promised to call back and never did.June 21,2024 called for service June 22, 2024 ***** called back and agreed to come personally to resolve the unit on June 24, 2024.June 24,2024 and no one showed up. Called again for service and no one has responded.For this reason, I am requesting the unit be repaired or replaced as soon as possible. The unit continues to have problems and Local AC has not responded or resolved the problem.

      The ** company installed a brand new ** for me since February and the ** have constantly have issues because they did not install the ** properly. At the end of October the ** start to leak Freon and I paid out of my own money to put new Freon and within minutes the ** never got cold. I found out later that day that the ** had major leak. I report it to them and they said itll take 3 to 4 weeks to replace and I its been already 2 months with no ** when I called them they never seemed to be interested on fixing the problem they constantly giving me excuses. As of this moment 12/04/23 I am still without ** and Im afraid my house my get damage with mold.

      As soon as we got your massage about the issues with the new AC unit we sent out a technician to check the issues.

      We got the unit up and running, and we still working on a couple of repair per the concerns of the home owner.

      Those repairs should be completed within the next few days.

      I purchased a $600 UV light filtration system from Local AC on July 19, 2021. The receipt states that the UV light comes with a 10-year parts and labor warranty and the bulb should last 3 - 5 years. Today, May 11, 2022, I had a technician out from another HVAC company who told me the UV light is burned out. I called Local AC to honor the warranty on my 10-month-old light and was told they've never been to my house for service. Local AC installed my air conditioner, installed the UV light filtration system, rewired my float switch, replaced a faulty defrost control board in my condenser, and replaced a faulty fan motor and capacitor in my condenser. The idea they have not been to my house for service is not only incorrect, it's dishonest and frankly ludicrous. To remedy this situation, I want a full refund of the $600 I spent on this defunct UV filtration system last year. I don't want a repair. I don't want a replacement. I want my money back so I can move on with my life and never have to deal with Local AC again.

We found that the UV light was installed correctly, it was only the bulb that burned out. We replaced that bulb with a new one with no charge, and also performed a complete maintenance service for the AC for proper operation. We did not charge you anything for this service. I am very glad that now the new UV light is working well, as well as the AC unit.       Description: A/C Replacement with Permits by the company LOCAL AC LLC. I hire this company to replace my AC in my condo with Permit in the City of Aventura. Its been more than a year since they claim that the work was finish but it has not pass inspection 4 times. The work should be finish when they pass inspection. If they don't pass that means the work its not done and finish. Today they cancel another inspection because they claim there was a leak in my line that they didn't did right in the first place from the installation. Now they want more money and threat me to take out all the freon from the AC if I don't pay them and put a lien on my condo for something they did wrong and the work its not been finish correct and pass inspection. They claim the 1 year warranty pass already. But the job have not been done correctly, pass inspection and finish yet. So technically they didn't finish the job in the first place. Its been more than a year with the permit open and the work not been done. They install the thermostat wrong, they make me buy a new one, the thermostat was not working because they didn't install the common wire. After a week the AC stop working and they have to put freon also the UV light stop working and I have to buy a replacement. Then after 3 month the AC again stop working again and I call them to fix it and told them I have a care person in my house that can not be with out AC and the answer was I don't have technicians to fix it. After a week of me calling they send somebody to fix it. Also they make appointments and never show up making me loose my time and when I call them no answer and I call the guys they send last and was schedule and they say oh they told me not to go. At this point I don't know what else I can do for them to finish the job and close the permit. The DBPR need to do something to companies like this one and I am sure I am not the first want they do this. They are playing with peoples money and lives.

I will first mention that the inspection for the work we did has beed APPROVED my the City of Aventura - Permit #*************** On the first inspection we had, the city inspector didn't had the access to the roof , so we had to reschedule the inspection. On the second time he went there, the inspector told us that the NOA tie downs document that we had to submit as part of the permit documents has not been submitted, which we of course we refiled, and rescheduled the inspection for another time. On the third time on 3/8/2022, we passed inspection and the permit is finalized now. We did NOT charge Mr. ******* any additional fee for those inspection, we absorbed them since that was our fault. Until that happened, Mr. ******* called us a couple of times with concerns about the install, and any time he called, we sent a technician right away to do the corrections with the AC. Since he had the 1 year labor warranty we always provide with every change out, we did the necessary corrections under that labor warranty, and did not charge him anything for that. I am very sure that to have call back with a new unit could be frustrating and time consuming from the costumer, and I deeply apologize for that inconvenience. Our obligation as a company is to be liable for those corrections, fix them, and absorb the cost of extra labor and materials we are using. This is exactly what we did. 13 months after the installation, Mr. ******* called again and said that the AC is not pusing cold air. Although the warranty expired, we sent a technician to diagnose the issue without charging any service call, diagnostic or even a trip fee. After our technician diagnosed the unit, we found a leak on the copper lines. The copper lines were not part of the job we did, we replaced the AC unit but did not replace any copper lines. I spoke with Mr. ******* and explained him that we cannot give warranty for old copper line that we did not replaced, we can only give warranty for what we did. The warranty expired anyway, and I tried to explained Mr. ******* that a leak that appears 13 months after we install the unit, cannot be a result of what we did, and cannot be our fault. Mr ******* was furious and did not accept that. After a few minutes of conversation, Mr. ******* understood that this is not our fault, and agree to pay 500$ instead of 896$ to repair the leak in the copper lines and refill back the unit with refrigerant (which was completely empty). Even tough that's it leave us with no profit, I agreed to the 500$ price. Mr ******* mention that his elder mother cannot be with no AC so I decided to to that for him. After the repair has been done, Mr. ******* refuse to pay the 500$ he agreed on. I told him that we pass inspection like we were supposed to, we preform the repair as he requested, but he still said that he is not going to pay. In this point, I decided to absurd that lost as well. Right now the unit is working fine, the city inspected the work and approved it, and the leak he had on the copper lines are repaired as well. Although we did not received our payment fully, I hope that Mr. ******* is happy now. This company took 13 month to finish a job that I paid for and pay more of what I was supposed to pay. I hire this company to change my A/C for a new one up to code with permit. THE WORK WAS NOT FINISH UNTIL 13 MONTH LATER. AFTER 13 MONTH THEY CLAIM MY WARRANTY EXPIRED FROM A JOB THEY FINISH 13 MONTH LATER THAT ITS UNACCEPTABLE. I PAID FOR THE CHANGE OF THE NEW UNITS UP TO CODE AND THEY DIDNT FINISH TILL 13 MONTH LATER WHEN IT PASS INSPECTION MARCH 7 2022 SO UNTIL THAT ITS WHEN MY WARRANTY SHOULD START AND THEY MADE ME PAY MORE FOR SOMETHING THEY DIDNT DO IT RIGHT IN THE FISRT PLACE AND IF THEY DIDNT FIX IT BEFORE INSPECTION THEY DONT PASS INSPECTION AND AGAIN THE JOB WAS NOT DONE. ITS NOT MY PROBLEM THEY TOOK 13 MONTH TO FINISH THE JOB I PAY AND THEY MAKE ME PAY THEN WITH THEATS. THEY EVEN CANCEL A INSPECTION THREATING SAYING THEY WERE GOING TO PUT A LIEN ON MY HOUSE IF I DONT PAY THEM FOR A JOB I PAID AND THEY DIDNT FINISH TILL THE PERMIT WAS CLOSE. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOW TO DO BUSINESS THREATING CUSTOMERS. THE FIRST INSPECTION WAS IN JAN 26 2021 BUT THEY KEEP SENDING PEOPLE THAT DONT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND WITH OUT LICENSES AND WITHOUT THE SUPERVISION OF THE LICENSE CERTIFY CONTRACTOR THAT PULL THE PERMIT THAT GUYS NEVER SHOW UP IN MY HOUSE TO VERIFY THE WORK. I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR MORE THAN A YEAR AND ASKING TO FINISH THE JOB AND TOOK ME 13 MONTH IF I DIDNT MAKE THIS COMPLAIN THEY WOULD NEVER FINISH THE JOB UP TO CODE AND CLOSE THE PERMIT. WHO PAY ME FOR ALL THE TIME I SPEND CALLING AND WAITING FOR THEM AND NO SHOW AND DONT PASS INSPECTIONS AND ALL THAT TIME. I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY I DONT TRUST THEM AND THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTY. THEY MAKE ME PAY FOR THE MISTAKES AND MADE ME RESPONSABLE FOR SOMETHING THAT I AM NOT. IN MY OPINION A JOB IS DONE WHEN THEY CLOSE THE PERMIT NOT BEFORE, THE PERMIT I PAID FOR TO DO THE JOB UP TO CODE. IF THEY DIDNT PASS INSPECTION THE JOB THAT I PAID WAS NOT DONE AND TOOK 13 MONTH TO PASS. BBB I don't know what you guys can do to stop this kind of companies. I only hope you guys can do something. Thanks Enjoy the money. And I did pay this company have to send the check 2 times because they are so sneaky that they don't put the full address in there invoice so people can not find them. THE TIME I SPEND AND ENERGY I SPEND COST ME MONEY. AND THEY DIDNT PAY FOR IT. AND AFTER 13 MONTH THEY EXPECT ME TO BE SMILING AND ACCEPT THE UNACCEPTABLE 13 MONTH TO DO A JOB I PAID IN FULL LONG TIME AGO.
