I hired Time Machine Contractors to repair my home after hurricane Ian. Unfortunately, they have not done any work except for putting in dehumidifiers and are asking for an invoice for $2,500. I have repeatedly called, texted, and emailed to get this invoice resolved or to work something out and they are not responding. The invoice states that if I do not pay, there will be a lien put on my house, yet can get anyone to talk to me about this. They were hired to do the roof and interior of the home and they have not done any of the work. They pushed us off to another contractor without notification for the roof/interior. Because of the delays, we have thousands of dollars’ worth of damage, especially with Mold Remediation. They have stated they would contact my insurance company about this invoice, but the insurance company has not heard anything, neither myself. I have repeatedly emailed, texted, and called to get this resolved, however they gave me no choice but to escalate this as I have only talked once with Tim to resolve this in a months’ time. I am willing to pay for the dehumidifiers in the amount of $500 as that is all the service I received.
