I hire this contractor in April to do some concrete work in my back yard back in April,,,until today my job I snot complete I already pay more than 75% of the cost to them and they are not coming to complete the job my back yard is totally destroyed and I am very unhappy they dug out half the soil and grass from my yardBusiness response

We provided a quote to Mrs. ***** on April 17th. She made her first payment on May 24th, and the project began in June not April as stated in the compliant. We did the first pour on June 2nd. We can provide proof of the first payment if this fact is disputed.
We incurred a lot of unfortunate incidents on this project. First, the concrete supplier, Alegria Concrete Corp, provided faulty cement during the pour. The slabs cracked and shattered within hours of the pour. I had a meeting with the owner of Alegria at Mrs. *****'s residence, his translators informed me it was faulty cement and I was the fourth customer this has happened to. During that meeting Alegria agreed to provide a refund so we could redo the pour with a different company, and they also agreed to demo the faulty concrete that was poured. Alegria then went on Mrs. *****'s property with a bobcat to demo the faulty concrete in her back yard. They completely demolished her yard by removing grass and dirt. I was out of town at a funeral when this occurred. Mrs. ***** called me hysterical about the damage they were causing to her yard. I immediately got Alegria on the phone to inquire about this as they were to demo those projects with a jack hammer not a Bob cat! Alegria provided my firm with a letter admitting they are responsible for all damages to Mrs. *****’s front and back yards and they would repair her yard. Mrs. ***** is fully aware of this and has a copy of the letter. After agreeing to the needed repairs, Alegria has decided the proper repair would be too costly and they are no longer willing to adhere to their promise to fix the issues they created. Instead, they abandoned the repair job and have stopped answering all phone calls from us. That in turn left us to do the repairs. I’m currently in the process of seeking legal action against Alegria to recover the cost of the faulty concrete and repairs. We did the second pour in July. Since then, my workers have had a series of incidents including heat strokes, car accidents and passing of family members. We’ve made Mrs. ***** aware of this and are diligently working to complete the project. I've hired additional staff and the project should be complete by September 1st, weather permitting. Mrs. ***** has agreed to that date. Our remedy for this is to complete this project as stated and leave her with a beautiful yard. We understand her frustration and agree her experience has not been favorable. However, her timeline is not correct and neither is the accusation of our company destroying her yard. As previously stated, Mrs. ***** has the emails and document from Alegria Concrete stating their liability and promises to fix the damage they did on her property. In addition, she was also at home when they damaged the yard, so I'm not sure why she is now blaming us when we are the ones trying to rectify the situation.
As a show of good faith, we have given Mrs. ***** thousands of dollars in discounts due to these issues. We can provide supporting documentation that substantiates every statement we’ve made in response to this complaint.
On behalf of CL ***** ENTERPRISES INC, I want to personally give Mrs. ***** a promise that we will complete her project and she will be happy with the end result as all of our past customers have been.

My first payment was on 5/24/23 the first pour was on 6/12/23 and yes with 2-4 hours after the purchase the entire concrete was cracked up , Ms ***** was made aware and she came out the the owner of Algeria who with interpreter help advise they will demolish and re pour ,,,On the day of the meeting I was never informed that it will be demolish with a Bobcat when Algeria showed up here with a Bobcat I called MS ***** and informed her she got. on the phone with Algeria and I was sent and email that any damages on the property they will fix also Ms ***** foreman Carlos ***** was present here on the second day of the Bobcat being used and saw the damages done to my yard ,,, approximately 1-2 weeks later Algeria showed up with some grass only and no dirt to refill my yard I call MS ***** and on a three way call with Algeria I was told they will not put back any dirt ,,,Ms ***** assured me she will get the yard fill before placing grass in the yard,,,,then 2 weeks later MD,***** Forman Mr Carlos ***** showed up and laid only grass I have the footage of all this on my cloud account ,,I texted her and call her the very day to ask her what happen to the dirt she never answer my call until the evening with a response thank you for letting me know,,, I met with Ms ***** my self and my husband on 8/19/23 when I showed her and she assured us that on 8/21/23 she will have a full crew out to fix the yard ,,I did not hire Alegria Concrete ,,I hired CL ***** Enterprise so they should be liable to fix the damages,,,,
Also in the interim of all this I have all the calls and text of the messages when no one is showing up here to work
I had an event schedule to be done at home on 8/3/23 which had to be canceled because of this and Ms. ***** told me she assured my project would be complete before the event ..
At present my drive way is told mess and is preventing me from parking ,,The patio is cracking which I showed her .
Over the time she comes out and tell me the same thing over and over and over the project will get done and it will be done right
I need a completion date if not I am looking for a full refund and the cost of the damages to my yard
Ms ***** assistant make sure she call me and emails me to get my payment which I already paid more than 90% to the company and I paid the invoices as I was sent I was told if I did more than one area I qualify for the discount.
