      I have tried contacting ***************** and Knight Fence LLC. for a scheduled installation date with no response. It has been 5 months, and the job has NOT been scheduled for installation. At this point, the only resolution is a full refund of my deposit of $3000.00 for the unrendered services, considering the inconvenience, and disappointment I have experienced.

      I have been communicating with ***** via email about his refund and have been sending it to him via Zelle. He knows this and has the records to show. As a new Zelle contact, they limit the amount we can send daily to new Zelle Contacts. He has received 2 of 3 Zelle payments for his refund. The final is being sent tomorrow. Again, He is aware of this and I have sent over to him the notification from our bank about the daily limits. He confirmed via email he was getting the payments also. So I am unclear why he is saying I have not done this.

      As a first-time homeowner, I engaged Knight Fence LLC to construct a fence. *****************, a representative of Knight Fence LLC, provided an estimate of $9,000 and requested an initial deposit of 50%, which amounted to $4,500. Given the competitiveness of their estimate compared to other vendors, I signed the contract and deposited it on June 22nd, 2023, using my mother's credit card due to credit limit constraints. Subsequently, after obtaining approvals from the ************** County, changes were required to adhere to county guidelines. Knight Fence LLC was informed of these modifications, involving adjustments to the fence materials & design to comply with Seminole County regulations. Despite assurances from Knight Fence LLC that there would be no price change except for additional fencing length, complications arose when they unexpectedly demanded a new contract with a $3,800 increase, offering a mere $300 discount. Despite my willingness to proceed with the increased cost on the condition of paying the remaining balance upon project completion, Knight Fence LLC ceased communication, causing severe delays that jeopardized the ***'s 90-day approval deadline. Suspecting fraudulent behavior, I sought support from the *** and Seminole County, both of which granted approvals for a contractor change to complete the project. Following ********************* confirmation that Knight Fence LLC no longer intended to construct the fence and would refund my $4,500 deposit, I repeatedly attempted to communicate regarding the refund. However, my efforts to contact ****************************************** have met with unresponsiveness, with promises of the refund being deferred indefinitely. Given the persistent lack of ****************** to refund my deposit, I'm compelled to escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), as suggested by Seminole County, seeking intervention for resolution and retrieving my initial deposit. I appreciate the prompt attention & hope for a swift resolution.

      Knight Fence had requested payment method details, But Unfortunately, after I sent my Zelle account details, there was no further communication or payment made to me by Knight Fence LLC.

      I have tried calling and sending text messages on Phone after sending my payment details, but there's no response.

      I appreciate the prompt attention to this matter by BBB and hope for a swift resolution.

      Re: Complaint against Knight Fence LLC I am writing to file a formal complaint against Knight Fence LLC regarding a contract for a fence installation. The contract, which was signed on June 26, 2023, involved a $1650 deposit for the project. The purpose of this complaint is to outline the numerous breaches of the agreement by Knight Fence LLC, which ultimately led to the cancellation of the contract. We engaged Knight Fence LLC to install a fence at our property, as well as our neighbor's property with whom we shared the job. However, we have encountered several significant issues during the course of the project, which have left us deeply dissatisfied with the quality of work and the company's adherence to the contract terms. The key issues and breaches of the contract include, but are not limited to: Delays: The project experienced numerous delays, well beyond the agreed-upon timeline specified in the contract. Poor Workmanship: The quality of the fence installation was subpar, with visible defects and issues that compromised the integrity and aesthetics of the fence. Lack of permit: A permit for the construction of the fence was never obtained breaking serious regulations. Failure to Address Concerns: Our attempts to address these issues with Knight Fence LLC were met with inadequate responses, lack of communication, and a failure to rectify the problems. Due to these ongoing issues and breaches of the agreement, we had no choice but to cancel the contract with Knight Fence LLC, as the company failed to meet its obligations. We have made multiple attempts to resolve these issues directly with Knight Fence LLC, and we keep getting the same answer that a refund will be issued, but it has not. We kindly request the Better Business Bureau's assistance in mediating this matter and seeking a fair resolution, which include a full refund. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and your assistance in facilitating a resolution.

      I apologize for the delay in getting back to this message as I was out of town on a personal family matter. This person received a full refund on the payment method that was used originally for the deposit, as we did not preform any work at this persons property. Our lead-times are roughly 6 weeks, weather permitting, and there was a holiday as well. As it often does in central Florida, we did have some weather roll through with a tropical storm/ hurricane and some rain delays.  We were delayed approx 2 weeks. As we were prepared to work on the project, we received notice of cancellation. And they were issued a refund. Thank you so much and have a blessed day -Angela J

      I have been expecting a call back from an owner related to unexpected damage to my property during a fence removal and replacement job at neighboring *************************************. I called for weeks over a month ago to speak to someone in charge after my irrigation service identified the issue. Two water pipes on my property were clipped while a fence post was removed and/or replaced on the property line. I was Ignored. Then my HOA tells me they never approved a fence replacement and that it requires a building permit to be reviewed. Longwood City tells me there was no building permit & they require a survey. So, they caused damage to my irrigation lines when they removed and/or re-dug the fence post holes w/o required permits, HOA approval, survey(?). WHY? I surely did not purchase a fence so there is no contract my neighbor can sign that waves my property rights. The damage was caused and ignored by KnightFence; It is being repaired now and should now be compensated for properly. It's not different than auto damages. $750 is Massey's pipe repair cost & KnightFence owes me-please write a check and I'll send you the copy of the repair invoice, or provide me your insurance information. I tried to be patient and made several attempts to get Angela to have the owner call me or stop by to resolve this, it's pretty obvious that irrigation pipes being damaged is a common complaint with this company. It makes it worse being a non customer suffering damage, but I was still being understanding. Building permits are as basic as a post hole DIA being 3 times the width of post. Cutting corners can cause problems. It's sad that no effort to take responsibility for this damage was made earlier. While there is clear fault and mistakes made, there wasn't an intention to cause damage so please be responsible professionals.I would prefer not to sue for the clear damage inflicted on my property while performing work without a permit; it is needless to escalate vs. resolve.

I then went away on vacation and there was another girl in the office that did not receive a call back. I asked after getting your message. As I do not feel safe on this platform with this info out there and my name. So you may call me at my office but I will not be using this platform as any means of communication. I have not given this website my personal cell phone for a contact and do not give it out to anyone business related. This response is just another brush off.The issue of the damage your subcontractors caused, if you refuse to pay for repairs then provide your insurance information and I will speak to them about the damages. Regarding your phone number, it is associated with the company and is publicly listed with the company website as the office number, so it is not a personal number and this is not some platform you can pretend is uncomfortable or unsafe, though I can understand if you are unfamiliar with it. You can let the owner handle this directly as I have been requesting for almost 2 months. I did call the office today as you requested, but only to have your "personal phone" answered by someone else. Once again I was told I will be called back. This platform is currently the only means to get a response, but again I am asking for the owner to respond, so you do not need to involve yourself here regardless of familiarity/comfort. Knight fence damaged my property and that frankly does not make me feel comfortable or safe, nor happy when ignored about it for over a month. I have a legit grievance with Knight Fence for illegally building a fence without a permit or HOA approval or Surveys and thus damaging innocent peoples adjacent properties. Accidental as it was, the lack of follow through and responsibility is not acceptable. The BBB, are involved to facilitate this complaint due to the professional negligence of Knight Fence and refusal to resolve the damage with me directly. Your permission is not required, and I suggest you allow the owner to engage in resolving this since you have not provided me help for almost 2 months now. I will not be brushed off anymore. Getting back to the matter at hand-If Knight Fence had actually taken the time to call me back what was going to be said/asked? Because "sorry" and "how much to repair the damage" is really all that is needed. The answer, as I said, is: $750 and I will send you the repair invoice and call it square. I only care about the failure to secure building permits and HOA approval because Knight Fence subcontractors damaged my property. I was minding my own business, and I am happy to continue doing so. It can be resolved with a check for repairs. If you fail to respond to this and still refuse to return my call I will continue with further avenues of resolution with the city of Longwood and Seminole county courts. I was informed of this issue mid June, nearly 8 months after the install. It was installed fall 2021.in Florida it seems odd to me 8 months later sprinklers aren't working. On occasion a sprinkler might be an issue and even though it clearly states on our contract we are no responsible for them, we have repaired them as a courtesy. Our client also had tree stump grinders out there and I don't know of any other work done which could have also possibly damaged a sprinkler. I don't know. But I was calling you back late June to work with you on it. I left to go out of town and didn't hear back. I don't have any idea who you are you are not one of our customers so it's even more unsettling having some man calling my personal phone. Making me feel unsafe. Again, I did try to reach back out and contact you just before my vacation. So please stop saying I haven't. I'm available at the office number during normal business hours. All while somehow being "bullied" through official and professionally written means of communication. Good grief. Normally calling people back and responding to professional attempts to resolve an issue is pretty basic, but perhaps too much for some people to manage like an adult. This desire to invent some gendered victimization narrative is just gross. I hope there is help available for people like this, or at least an appropriate job that keeps them busy and away from their self inflicted embarrassment. .... ....       I hired Knight Fence to install a fence on my property and they came in to install my fence. A week pass by and i find out that they broke a main line of my irrigation system and i contacted them and they said they won't be responsible for the irrigation. Even though they said i have lifetime warranty on everything.

Our rep did say the sprinkler damage was not due to our digging. Our contract does state we are not responsible for sprinkler lines and the customers need to mark or tell us where they are before digging. However, we do our best to assist in a repair if we damage the sprinkler during installation. I believe if there was damage they did correct it and then the homeowner was happy and paid their balance. So I'm unclear about this complaint. If there is still something wrong, the homeowner never called me to ask for assistance. As I would have sent someone out to look at this. In regards to the point the homeowner made about the warranty. Our warranty is lifetime for manufacturing defects (cracking, chipping, peeling as example not storm damage or if an animal or lawn mower damages) The fence warranty is for the lifetime of the fence and workmanship not on sprinklers. Attached is the contract they signed and I added a clear clean copy

      On 11/3/21 we met with a representative from Knight Fence for an estimate for a partial fence on the side of our property, some weeks later we found out, that the county would not approve of the fence we wanted and requested a refund of our $775.00 deposit. We have made numerous phone calls and at one point was told the refund was submitted, however it had been more than 10 days and still no refund back to our credit card. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
