I employed Your Fence ** to do a vinyl fence for our home which was done on October 25th 2023. On December 15th I contacted the person who did the installation to let him know that I could'nt open or close the gate. He came to correct the issue and said the gate post is slanting towards the gate and that's the reason the gate is not able to lock properly. He fixed the problem on December 18th.By February 10th I noticed the gate had difficulty opening and closing again and the hinges showing cracks. On February 12th I contacted *** via text and sent pictures of the cracks and the gate not being able to lock. I got no reply from him. I tried contacting via phone but he never answered the call. I left him many messages but no contact from his side.I contacted the company on February 28th and sent them pictures and explained whats happening and they did not respond to any of my texts or phone call.When I sent an email, i was told I'll be scheduled soon. I asked for a date and got no response. in the mean time the cracks on hinges became severe enough that one of the gate broke away from the top hinge and was tethered to the bottom hinge. I repeatedly sent email with pictures and called them, no response at all.On March 24th the gate completely broke off. The company policy is to fix the fence anytime there was an issue even if it was a hurricane which damaged it. The REASON for the problem is improper installation. All I want is for them to fix their mistake.Initial Complaint

I paid $2,015 to the company for a fence. For months they strung me along. No fence has been delivered, no refund issued, and no communication from the company other than an email a month ago indicating I would get a refund. I am 83 years old and demand a refund of my money.Initial Complaint

In December of 2022 we signed a contract for fence installation and paid a deposit of over $2600 dollars and the fence was supposed to be installed in February of 2023. To date we have not gotten a response in regards to a schedule date or request for refund. Their contract states they will refund you and keep a $100 permit pull fee. We have since learned this company filed bankruptcy in January of 2023 and had already applied for a new license under a seperate company as Your Fence & Gate Co LLC which is who we signed the contract with. They are scamming multiple people for deposits with no intention of installing and then just switching company names.Customer response

I've attached communications with the homeowners regarding their delayed installation which is in compliance to the contract they have signed and uploaded to this case, along with the refund form being submitted to them and filled out as well as email correspondence of the matter. I'd also be happy to provide the BBB with a full list of all completed installations. I am not attaching them here, as they contain sensitive information that will not be shared with the disputing member of this case. More so, the former company is of no merit to this case as the former operated under additional ownership as well, who is not a part of this LLC.
