As a former employee I have observed and experienced multiple issues that create a hostile and unsafe work environment. Firstly, Twistee Treat does not provide breaks for employees over 18 years old, even for those who work long shifts ranging from 7 to 10 hours. This lack of breaks is not only exhausting but also against labor laws that ensure employees have adequate rest periods during their work hours.Secondly, the company frequently asks minors to work beyond their legally allowed 4-hour shifts. This exploitation of minor employees is a serious violation of labor laws designed to protect young workers.The current manager at Twistee Treat harassed minors about their personal dating lives. This inappropriate and invasive behavior created an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment for these young employees. They also engage in unacceptable conduct by making political statements and using racial slurs. they have referred to our generation as "nothing but a bunch of mutts," which is deeply offensive and discriminatory. This type of language fosters a toxic workplace culture. employees are bullied by managers, and higher-*** fail to take any action to address or resolve these issues. This lack of accountability and support from upper management further perpetuates a hostile work environment. The physical conditions at Twistee Treat are also highly concerning. The facility is infested with flies, rats, and roaches, creating an unhealthy and unsafe work environment. Despite repeated complaints from employees, these sanitary issues remain unaddressed. Additionally, employees are required to work in extreme heat conditions when the air conditioning fails, with temperatures reaching between ******* degrees inside the establishment. This negligence in maintaining a safe and comfortable workspace is unacceptable and poses health risks to both employees and customers.These conditions and practices are unacceptable and create a hostile and unsafe work environment.
