The owner Carlos Luis ********* of ***** ***** ******** dba/ Herbross Construction is a fraud and scammer! Financial Dishonesty and misconduct as well beyond poor workmanship. We had to hire an attorney for breach of contract specifications and noncompliance with building codes. Failure of all inspections, poor material foundation cracks, poor frame, and In fact, Contractor has failed numerous inspections with the building department. In addition, there are several other apparent issues, which include but are in no way limited to: • Large cracks in the slab 10 to 12 feet long • Cut trusses • Broken plates • Second-level framing out of plumb • Masonry walls out of square These issues are not merely aesthetic, but a real matter of SAFETY. Herbross or Carlos ******** as contractors failed to properly install all columns until the issue was identified by the architect. The man took the money from our retirement home, beware of abusing seniors. Now we are renting a room to live in after selling our home to build something custom for our old age.

We are disappointed to learn about the written review sent to the Best Business Bureau ID: ****** falsely accusing Herbross Construction and creating an inexcusable defamation of our character. Herbross Construction entered into a written contract with Edgar ******* **** and Yanet ******* (the owners) for the construction of their residence based upon architectural plans provided by the owners. After the contract was executed, the owners made modifications to the original architectural plans. They were informed, in writing, that any deviation from the scope of the original contract would require not only the approval by the County Building Department but also that those changes would impact the contract price. Unfortunately, the owners did not want to assume the economic responsibility for their modifications and terminated the contract without paying Herbross Construction for thousands of dollars of work it had performed. The owner’s written statements claiming “fraud, scammer, financial dishonesty, misconduct poor workmanship” among others are patently false. At all times Herbross Construction built the residence in accordance with the owner’s plans and specifications and followed the requirements of the Florida Building Code. Herbross Construction also provided the owners with extensive evidence proving to have upheld its contractual duties. The structure, as it has been constructed, meets or exceeds the requirements of the Florida Building Code 7th ed. and is structurally sound. A structural forensic inspection was conducted by a qualified licensed engineer which found no structural deficiencies, copy enclosed herewith, and the company that designed and constructed the roofing truss has inspected the structure also and informed the owners that no safety issues existed.
