We have made some meat purchases in the past, since we didn't have a good experience, we decided to pursue this one and saved the receipt and the residual product to report it to BBB. We intend to pursue it since it is better for the community, poor quality food directly impacts families and children. The business says it's committed towards providing healthy food for families. They claim they provide customers with excellent quality service. They also claim to be best for meat products. But that is not true. A business may not profit by selling meat which has 80% bones ( we have collected all the residual bones and can provide the weight, if needed). The customer is paying to buy just the bones! It is a bad practice since they are making profit without following basic quality protocol. We bought $50 worth of prepackaged meat. If you multiply this to several customers, they are clearly making profit by selling such product on daily basis. We drove about an hour to pick Goat meat for a special family event. We put it in freezer & cook it after few weeks. It was not only frustrating but humiliating to serve such food to our guests since most of it was bones. It included adults and children who were served this product. We would like to not only get full refund but also bring this matter to light so that they can stop this practice and charge their customers fairly. They need to label it correctly and inform them what they are selling. It's clearly a deceiving practice and as member of the community I want it resolved. When approached for a resolve they offered partial store discount, since 30 days had passed. That is not acceptable since we don't trust their approach to sell poor quality meat which can be harmful for health for families and children. Hence we don't want to purchase any item from their store. I would like full refund and someone to keep a check on this malpractice. I would also look into reporting this to local food regulatory body.
