We had gutters installed on our house by Gutter King in April of 2020. In January of this year, one of the seals started leaking and we noticed a patch of weeds growing out of one of the gutters. We climbed up onto the roof to see what was going on and found there were multiple low spots that weren't draining. Water had just been pooling in them. We realized the install had been done incorrectly. It just took time for the issue to become known since we had no reason to crawl up onto the roof until the seal broke. We reached out to Gutter King to ask them to come take a look at their defective work and get it repaired. For months we have called and left messages with them and they have either refused to call us back or they call us back and say someone will come look at it but then never does. On one returned call a very rude gentleman even said they had a minimum $750 requirement to do any work on it. At the beginning of July a second seal broke and began to leak. So finally on July 12 I left a message saying I was going to leave a complaint with BBB if they didn't at the very least come look at it to see what it was doing. They (Paul) actually returned my call and sent a service manager (Bob) to look at it July 13. He acknowledged there was a problem and that the gutters needed to be raised in multiple areas. The possibility of additional downspouts being added was also discussed. He said he would put it in a repair order and it would be fixed within a week. He also said this would be done free of charge because it was a defect in the original install. After he left we never heard back. No one called to schedule the repair. On July 26 I called Paul and left another message. He returned my call July 29 saying once again someone would be in contact with us to schedule the repair. It's now August 5 and still no call and no repair. For months they have refused to fix a defect in their work even after acknowledging it was defective and telling us it would be repaired.Business response

Apologies have been made to them for this experience, we pride ourselves on a good experience and fell short here. Working to get better every day. Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2022/08/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) This issue was addressed promptly and adequately. They contacted us next day and had someone come out at our first availability. New downspouts were added where the gutters weren't draining and everything seems to be working much better now. Thank you.
