      April 26, 2021, Keith presented to prime and paint exterior of house as previously agreed. Only required I provide 2 gallons each of primer and color paint of my choice. Upon arrival, he pressured for upfront 25% deposit in cash or by chg w/ me paying chg fee and stressed he accepted nothing else. He refused to give addit'l time for consultation. I was not well. When I protested- no written contr't to cover sudden demands, he said he was there to perform & his policy was to not began work until he had the deposit - 1st time ever mentioned. He physically helped make the $375 *********** money transfer to his account - I was upset & struggling with it. He started to prime rails , stopped, said he wasn't going to prime as that was paint'g my house twice. Ran inside, came out to find him spray paint'g rather than manually as agreed. Asked to remove paint f/ bricks while I ran 2 S.-Wms. to try chang'g paint. He refused & left. Only got broken promises, lies, & silence since.

This business was created a few months after the date in question K Hood Handyman Services LLC has nothing to do with her complaint. Me personally has dealt with Ms. ********. Just to be clear. Now...I specifically asked Ms. ******** to purchase a paint/primer mix. She insisted on buying something different. She would not allow me to do the work inside the house nor would she allow me to hide the wires that I was hire to do. I was at he house a total of 5 times for no reason at all, because I didn't get any work completed because of her. I began painting her house. She stopped me because she didn't like the paint color. I got a little paint on her brick and I set a day/date/time for me to come remove the paint. She canceled the day that I was supposed to go remove the paint. I was then involved in an accident where I was out of work for about two months. I explained that to Ms.********* and let her kno that I would get over there as soon as I could. I asked her to set a date for me to come remove the paint. She wouldn't. I also work for a realtor and we do very good business. You can also read my reviews from previous customers. I pride myself on my reviews and my quality of work. I have a five star business rating. So what would make me choose to switch up for her and throw away everything that I've worked so hard to build? I never pressured Ms.********* for any deposit money nor did I ask for her business. Taking her on as a customer was o e of the worst mistakes I've made. I'm sure she's probably reporting everyone who has done work for her.she complained to me about everyone that has came to her house to do work. Why would I be any different? Once again...she has NEVER been a customer to K Hood Handyman Services LLC. There was no such business at the time so I don't know why she is trying to ruin the business name. Each is preceded and followed by three astericks (***) First of all. Ms.********* has NEVER dealt with my business. This business was created a few months after the date in question K Hood Handyman Services LLC has nothing to do with her complaint.***This is contrary to how Keith represented his business to me in trying to overcome my resistance and deep frustration with his sudden pressuring me to pay 25% upfront deposit at the time he was to start working. I encountered problems setting up and making the transfer from my bank account. He take over the computer in helping to effect the transfer and confirm the funds had been transferred into his account. See attached April 26, 2021 picture of his website he texted to confirm existence of the the business name he worked under and to boost his claimed creditability. He boasted having all five star reviews. It is identical as is currently reflected in the Secretary of State files. I don't understand his denial now that it existed and working under that name????? *** Me personally has dealt with Ms. ********. Just to be clear. Now...I specifically asked Ms.********* to purchase a paint/primer mix. ***For his texted admission of instructing me to buy 2 gallons of primer and 2 gallons of color paint, refer to attached 5/12/2021 1-4 attachments. Attachments 3 AND 4 which document our text exchange regarding this on May 12, 2021. Note his response to my text that I bought 2 gallons each of primer and color paint exactly as he instructed -- "Ok you did but since you can't use it, please ask for the mix." *** She insisted on buying something different. ***May 12, 2021 Attachments 3 and 4 crystal clearly shows I did not.*** She would not allow me to do the work inside the house nor would she allow me to hide the wires that I was hire to do. ***These items were not included in what he was hired to do, nor were they on his hastily scribbled agreement dated April 26, 2021 outlining the scope of work he would perform for $1500. He refused to quote charges for anything that I was not ready and financially prepared to have done then. His statement , therefore, lacks relevancy.*** I was at he house a total of 5 times for no reason at all because I didn't get any work completed because of her. ***He did come to my house a total of five times only and for the following reasons: ---1st time. March 2021 he presented to review what I wanted painted and in search of being hired to do it. ---2nd time. March 24, 2021 he came to view other things on my to do list to ascertain what he could do and quote what he would charge. I do have a copy of his text ascertaining he needed to return to view the other things on my list. ----3rd time. April 26, 2021 to began work. He initially was scheduled to start on April 24, 2021. He texted April 23 of his need to change the date to April 25, 2021. At 8:44 AM on the morning of April 25, 2021, he cancelled and cited unexpected family coming into town and a vaccine appointment at 3:00 PM as reasons. ---4th time. May 1, 2021 to begin painting. Nothing went as agreed and discussed after this. He made a couple very short brush stokes using the primer paint (he had instructed me to purchase) and stopped. He stated priming my house was like painting my house twice and he was not going to do that. He instructed me to go get spray paint so he could spray paint the wrought iron. My prior response accurately states what happened after this. He spray painted 15 linear feet in disregard to our detailed discussion and agreement that he would prime, hand paint , and ensure it confined to intended surfaces. He refused to promptly remove the paint to prevent it drying and sinking into bricks surface (I stressed he needed to promptly remove it for this reason). He refused to get supplies he needed and remove it while I went to the paint store. Said he had other work to do and left. ----5th and final time. May 8, 2021, came to remove the paint. He requested use of my pressure washer which proved to not be working properly. He said he would rent a pressure washer and return May 10, 2021 to remove the paint. He never returned and never initiated any attempt to come back to remove the paint. All requests for him to remove the paint were initiated by me, as well as all subsequent contacts.***I began painting her house. She stopped me because she didn't like the paint color ***(spray painting)***. I got a little paint ***(measures 15 linear feet long and extends downward up to 4 inches wide)*** on her brick and I set a day/date/time for me to come remove the paint. She canceled the day that I was supposed to go remove the paint. ***This statement is really scewed. I texted on May 3rd asking him to come remove the paint. He responded he would take care of it on the weekend. On May 8, 2021 at 2:24 PM I texted asking him when and what time could he come to remove the paint. Less than two hours later and without notice, he texted he was outside and in the process, but needed to use my power washer, which I graciously provided. The power washer stopped working and he left saying he would rent a pressure washer and return early May 10th to remove the paint. On the morning of may 10, 2021 at 11:16 AM, I texted notice I would not be home until after 5 PM (ill-urgent doctor appt.). I asked could he come after 5 PM or following day. When I got back home at 5:49PM I texted notice I was back. He did not respond to either text message. *** I was then involved in an accident where I was out of work for about two months. I explained that to Ms. ******** and let her kno that I would get over there as soon as I could. I asked her to set a date for me to come remove the paint. She wouldn't. I also work for a realtor and we do very good business. ***Lacks relevancy*** You can also read my reviews from previous customers. ***Lacks relevancy.*** I pride myself on my reviews and my quality of work. I have a five star business rating. ***Only relevant because he expounded these same things to me in assuaging my angst with sudden pressure for upfront deposit without prior discussion and notice. He texted website information for verification.*** So what would make me choose to switch up for her and throw away everything that I've worked so hard to build? I never pressured Ms. ******** for any deposit money nor did I ask for her business. ***(Inaccurate).***Taking her on as a customer was o e of the worst mistakes I've made. ***(he pursued being hired by texting to check if he was still being considered and that I had not hired someone else to do the work. I have a complete thread of all our text exchanges. It is how we communicated (See attachment dated 4/6/2021).*** I'm sure she's probably reporting everyone who has done work for her.she complained to me about everyone that has came to her house to do work ***(WE only discussed obvious pending completion work of an out of town contractor as it negatively impacted planned inside repairs (Refer to 4/4/2021 -2 of 2). Copies of the attached text messages clearly shows he has made false statements in his response to you, that I have been treated unfairly, and that my project has not been handled in a businesslike manner. Even the refusal to provide the physical mailing address after three requests is reason to question the lack of transparency. *** Why would I be any different? Once again...she has NEVER been a customer to K Hood Handyman Services LLC. There was no such business at the time ***As stated herein, this is contrary to what Keith told me and texted website information to support his claim for his active business website address with all five star glowing reviews (Refer to 4/26/2021- 2 of 2).*** so I don't know why she is trying to ruin the business name. Keith R H******. Please upgrade my complaint be inclusive of Keith R. H******* as well as K Hood Handyman Services LLC. It is sad that this businessman would even think of retaining a customers advance alleging for travel back and forth "for no reason at all, " when in fact all trips were business related with two (in pursuit of being hired) occurring long before he was hired. He failed/refused to perform as hired. Even more disgraceful is he did this to an ill, deaf, and very senior female. Please note, also, I waited patiently two months for him to recover from an accident without him ever initiating updates during that time or later. I initiated all the contacts between us starting with and since May 8,2021. He cancelled scheduled reporting dates at least three times without me taking offense or reproach. Yet he is comfortable holding me, his customer and technically his employer, to a much stricter standard for giving a one time notice I would not be home until after 5PM (urgent doctor's appt.) and requested him to come after 5 PM or another day. Why would you not make the payment out to THAT company. If Walmart comes to hang a TV in my house, I not going to make the payment out to Sam's club. I'm going to pay the company that hung my television. I'm not going to keep going back and forth with you either. If you don't pick a date for me to come remove the paint from your bricks. Then it'll be there. This is my last and final time asking. I will NOT respond to anything else unless it's a date for me to come remove the paint. Keith's responses show he consistently make claims that his text messages are proofs of his inaccuratecy. It is obvious he still refuse to accept responsibility for his inappropriate conduct in the manner that he handled my project. Substantiated facts show he tightly controlled every aspect of his business and its performance or lack thereof. The choice to make it right now is his. I was ill and unstable the morning of April 26 when Keith presented with his shocking demand for a 25% upfront cash deposit. He only offered the alternative to charge it with $25 additional fee. It is obvious now that he took advantage of me and the situation. The facts unveiled in this complaint clearly reflect he does not operate similarly to Walmart and other famously known big box businesses he referred to. I don't know of any small corps that operate like that; they tend to be honest and responsive in making things right with their customers. His reference to big box corporations, and lack of relevancy in speaking of them is not a good representation of him as owner. He did not handle my project and interactions in a business like manner with me. I really don't know how his institutional bank account (s) is structured to operate. His questions would more appropriately be answered by a governmental taxing agent determination on whether business and personal funds were commingled in his account. I relied upon his business website information, high recommendation from a realtor (who was featured April 26 on his business website giving him a five star review), and on him, the owner, to be forthright and honest in his dealings with me. With upfront refund of $300 , I consent and will work with him in setting a mutually agreed upon date for his return to gently remove spray paint from my bricks. My preference is for him to pay the cost a neutral party would charge to remove the paint because of soured retationship his actions and inaccuracies have fostered. With these two things accomplished, I will cease to pursue further action against him and his business. Ms. ** ********
