I was quoted a complete job for landscaping project of removal of trees, planting new grass in all bare spots of back yard, the grass to be moved and the hedges to be trimmed. It has been over three weeks and only half the job was completed. I have tried calling the owner and business as well as sending numerous texts with no answers. They were paid for the job and did not finish it. The grass has now become overgrown as they did not mow it as hired to do,.Business response

We were initially asked to provide a quote to install one pallet of Bahia sod and cut back the growth along the perimeter of the backyard. While servicing the customer requested a favor for an additional small tree to be removed and it was completed at no extra cost with no hesitation. During the initial walk through the customer was asked if they would like to order more than just 1 pallet to cover bare spots in backyard and they declined the offer and asked that the remaining pieces from the one pallet be distributed into the bare spots. Unfortunately the 400 sq ft pallet did not stretch as far as the customer anticipated and they were demanding we come back with an additional 800 sq ft of sod to fill in all the bare spots that were now exposed from clearing the perimeter. The area to be sodded was measured prior to providing the estimate and the customer was informed of the square footage of the area and the remaining sod. The job was completed by our landscaping team on July 8 2022 a 50% deposit was received prior to starting the service and the job was inspected and approved for completion by the customers daughter when we received payment for the job completed on July 11 2022. When we originally met with the customer they explained that they had several other bids and were looking for the best price so we offered a free cut but also explained that it will be provided with our lawn care team, customer was also informed that our lawn care team was behind schedule due to frequent rain and the heat index being above 100 degrees for the last 2 weeks so they were not provided an invoice for the lawn care service and it was not included in the original estimate that they approved. The project that we were hired for was completed, the lawn was serviced and we have before and after pictures to prove the work was completed.
