Hello I contacted a law firm to help with a MSPB/EEO case. Due to wrongful termination I was told the lawyer I would consult with was qualified in the matter. Paid upfront $200 on 6/23/22 had meeting on 6/24/22 the whole time the lawyer kept saying I'm not familiar with this I specialize in business hospitality !! Kept asking me if I knew how to go about to file this law suite.. then at the end of consult it was a Friday late afternoon . I was told they would get a contract sent out to me with all fees involved to handle the case sent to me on Monday the following week. As he was out of the office the following Thursday & Friday Did not get paper work by the following Thursday called office was told it would be arriving. As of today still nothing has come. I feel that they were misleading that the lawyer would be knowledgeable in this case to represent me was a lie. The. To say they would send out a contract and never received it even after contacting again. Is not a proper business practice. I am seeking a letter of apology from this firm for their wrong misrepresentation and a reimbursement of the consult fee as the lawyer assigned to the case had no idea how to conduct the law suite as was told to us. As this was a time sensitive matter and they were aware of this before the consult even took place. As they did not follow thru with as they stated I am seeking the return of consult fees as they had no idea on that day information I was told they would but all would be included in contract the following week and have never gotten a contract or agreement from the law firm of B,M&M.. i went in good faith and they did nothing as I was offered !
