I hired Southern Guarantee Moving company and they sub contracted with Right Away Movers, they picked my items up on 6/18/2022 as of today I have not received my items and they have shut off all communicationInitial Complaint

They changed prices on me multiple times. I never received a bill of lading despite asking for it but was told if I refused services I wouldn't get my money back. When my items arrived most of it was missing and what did arrived was mostly broken beyond repair. I tried contacting them to even just get a bill of lading after the fact so I could make an insurance claim and they blatantly hung up on me countless times. I am no pursuing legal action since this is the only way I can reimbursed in any way for my $20,000 in losses since they didn't produce a bill of lading. This is one of the worst and most unprofessional companies I've ever worked with in my life. At this point it is personal and I intend to drag them through court as long as I need to. I don't care if it costs me another $20,000. Judging from their reviews on every platform this company just handles their business in a way that totally screws their customersInitial Complaint

We had booked our move on 8/15/2021 which was about 2 months prior to our move out date. We booked our move with Progressive Van Lines which wouldn't even book the date without a deposit of about $400. Which was fine because they sounded like a trustworthy company and that we would have our belongings taken care of and brought to us in a timely manner. The movers came to our apartment on 10/15/2021 to pick up our furniture and belongings and to our surprise it wasn't "Progressive Van Lines" at all but Right A-Way Movers. Still feeling like we could trust them we let them take our things, and had to pay an extra $2,000 on top of what we had already agreed on because we had a lot of things. When everything was said and done and our belongings were packed up, they told us we would receive our things within 2-12 business days. So we waited and starting calling the phone number on our contract and every week he would tell us our things would be at our home the next week. We waited very patiently but enough is enough. It is now December 20th, 2021 and we have nothing in our home. The man we spoke to before stopped answering our phone calls and text messages and he won't tell us where our things are so we can pick them up. We even told him we are willing to pay extra and he still won't budge. We are very afraid that our belongings are missing. Over $20,000 worth of furniture and personal belongings. We feel that we are out of options and we don't know what to do. I don't know what the mans name is but his phone is (XXX)-XXX-XXXX if that helps to get an answer or some kind of help for our situation. We just want our things back.
