My daughter's 2018 Q7 engine light came on and dealership gave me an estimate of $2500 plus for alternator, water pump and thermostat. I questioned the water pump for sure as temperature gauge was working ok. I took her car to a independent mechanic and they did same test for engine light. HOWEVER, absolutely no need for alternator, water pump and thermostat. These three codes did even appear. What did appear was the hose disconnected from the manifold. They said this particular hose has never been seen to be disconnected in any other car. One other code was a catalytic converter, but didn't need to be repaired. Their final price was $158.27 and everything is perfectly ok. Were they trying to rip off a female !!!!

I would like to share with everyone in my review of Audi of South Orlando. So I did a online appraisal for my vehicle to sell to a AutoNation on December 21, 2022. I had received a response that they would pay $55,500 for my vehicle. I have sold multiple cars to AutoNation and it’s always been very easy, I also know that the offer is subject to an in person inspection I have the vehicle in storage in Orlando at a buddy of mine’s exotic car rental company. I live in Miami so he did me the favor on January 9, 2023 to take it into the location for the in person inspection. At this time he did do that and the manager said he could not honor the original offer of 55,500 but could do $55,000 flat. When the sales representative Jacob called me and told me this I asked him do you think that we could do the $55,500 and wrap this up he said give me an hour or less and I will talk it over with my manager and call you back, he called me back and said my manager is OK with that deal so when can you come in? I said I could be in as early as this Thursday, January 12, 2023 he said perfect. We also spoke on January 11, 2023 confirming everything that was good to go because I was getting a rental car and taking off of work January 12, 2023 Jacob called me first thing in the morning asking me if I was in the area I said yes I should be there shortly with the vehicle I had to go pick it up. I brought the vehicle in to them with a driver following me, Jacob told me that the manager today needs to look at the vehicle again I was like why when another manager looked at it on Monday and confirm that we are good for the offer he had told me that it should be quick and we can move things along. The new manager looks like the vehicle and tells me we can’t pay that much money. We only could pay $49,500. I was like what happened to the initial offer that the other manager gave me on Monday for $55,000 and then he bumped it to $55,500. He really couldn’t give me an answer and was dismissive.

On April 18 2022, I purchased from Audi South Orlando, a used as is, bumper to bumper inspection in excellent condition,2017 Audi SQ5, per Audi Brand Specialist: Anthony E. The Customer Financial Services Manager: Gabriel E. introduced an extended warranty in excess of $3K which I declined. I agreed to the vehicle care protection for: $880.00, which only covers 4 services of oil changes, tire rotations to 4/18/2027. NB: No services redeemed to date. A request to cancel and the refund of $880.00 was communicated to Service Manager: Romin R. 11/25/22. He assured me verbally, and via email the request for the refund was submitted to their finance department. Under six months the vehicle developed air condition cooling issues, (blowing warm air only) The Audi Brand Specialist was notified. He suggested to bring the vehicle in for troubleshooting. A Service Adviser:(Mechanic- Derek L) sent me a detailed video of a Multi Point inspection.NB. (Vehicle was taken in only for A/C troubleshooting) His findings include: Upper and Lower control Arm Bushings are torn and split open, and needs replacement, clogged washer fluid nozzle. cost: $2,980.+ tx (copy of text and video will be provided if required.) The A/C Compressor internal failure finding was a replacement cost of: $3,732.35+tx. The sub total cost combined with the front end repair is: $6,712.35 +tx. I declined both repair cost, and subsequently was charged an additional inspection cost of: $250.48 prior to the release of the vehicle. My displeasure with the service and the treatment; Notwithstanding the as is purchase, and no extended warranty, the A/C Compressor failure is an unfortunate experience. Troubleshooting and repair from other source was the (Denso)Compressor Control Solenoid Valve: cost$46.95. The Service Manager proposed a 15% discount of repair cost (appx.$250 )for the A/C repair only, and that the Front End repair is not as critical as was stated, and could be delayed for future repair
