      I didn't not have a pleasant car buying experience. This Volkswagen location makes you initial and sign that you had a "great customer experience", mean while your sales person and other VW employees are all huddled around you. It felt like being forced to sign something under destress. Also they had a "cyber attack" while I was there and I was told by a gentleman in finance that if I did not come back in to sign the paperwork after the "cyber attack" was over that they would call the cops and I would be arrested. VW South really knows how to make you uncomfortable while handing over thousands of dollars to them.

      I bought a used vehicle in November. I flew to ******* to sign papers. I had them deal with the title and tag as it seemed easier. I was wrong. I have been contacting them (most of the time with no proper response) consistently since January 18th. I was promised and got an email to verify I would have another temp tag in 48 hours. No tag came. I contacted the for 9 days via phone, ****** chat, email, website chat and ******** messaging with no response. Finally got someone on the phone on the 29th of January. Was told they didnt have proper insurance information (I have e mail proof I sent that the day I bought my car 11/24) so I resent it and was told Id get a tag in 48 hours. No tag so I contacted them again on 2/6 and was told the title company was waiting on money (after I was told I havent been trying to contact them for almost a month.) and was sent an e mail stating AGAIN I would have a tag in 48 hours. Friday called as I still didnt have a tag. Was told the woman handling my information would be in the next morning at 8:30. (I had yet to talk to a woman once) I called this morning at 8:45 and was told shed be in in 5 minutes. I gave her 20 and called again to be told she wont be in until Monday. I have been recording and documenting everything. We are looking into options on filing complaints and if I dont get my plate next week, possible legal action since we are at a loss on what else we can do. I need to be able to drive my car to work but my tag has been expired for almost a month! Wish I could leave a 0 star review

      recently had an extremely disappointing service experience at Orlando Volkswagen South. For over two years, I’ve been grappling with persistent battery issues and a noisy water pump. These problems have been unsuccessfully addressed by multiple Volkswagen dealers, including this one. My latest visit was met with a surprising new policy: an inspection is required before providing a loaner. This policy was not communicated prior to my appointment. Despite discussing my situation with Rod, the Service Director, I was told that I couldn’t get a loaner for another week. When I inquired about having a loaner for just one day, the staff indicated that even if parts were needed, I’d have to return the loaner and wait again for them to call me. Living 45 minutes away, this back-and-forth is not only inconvenient but utterly unacceptable. Rod’s indifferent response, comparing his commute to mine, showed a lack of customer empathy and service commitment. It’s disheartening to see such disregard for customer time and loyalty. I am left with no resolution in sight and a feeling of sheer frustration. After posting a Google review, Rod contacted me. Instead of correcting the situation, he escalated it to the point that I had to contact corporate. All managers at that dealership need serious customer service training.

      I've never felt so disrespected and so stereotyped in my life. We went into Volkswagen South as a return customer, looking to purchase a new car. The general manager, Phillip ******, told us (with a straight face) we couldn't test drive the car until they "ran the numbers" and "we agreed to purchase" the car!!! Who does this? Who buys a car before test driving?! According to the General Sales Manager (Phillip ******) VW South is under new management, which is apparent. This was a completely different experience than when we purchased our first car from this dealership approx. 3 yrs ago. Unbelievable. I feel they looked at my husband and I and assumed we couldn't afford the car. Maybe if they allowed us to test drive the car (as is customary) we would have made an offer and they would've seen my husband and I are both working professionals that can easily afford the car. Their loss. We'll purchase the car elsewhere!

      Our limited production vehicle such as the Golf R, GTI and GLI require basic agreement on figures and qualifying credit before test driving them. This policy is in place and will remain as so. We understand that this may upset customers but ALL customers buying these vehicle have been asked to follow this process and have done so to buy one. Any serious buyer coming to this location have done this before purchasing one. Customers wanting a brand NEW performance vehicle don't want 50 plus miles on them. We wish them the best of luck.
